I have to use Metasploit for a class I am taking on Cybersecurity, is there a way to exclude Metasploit and its framework from webroot? I checked all the ALLOW options I could find, it still flags them as bad. It is SecureAnywhere CE 22.3. Appreciate suggestions to get these resolved.
Greetings all! As of this past Monday, WSA password manager has not been able to login to Microsoft sites. It was working fine, then the next time (same day) I tried to login to Microsoft, the screen began flashing uncontrollably. I can log in manually, however, just not with password manager. So far, Microsoft sites seem to be the only ones affected. I submitted a ticket and WSALogs and received a reply saying it was a known issue, but could not find an instance of the issue in the community. Is anyone else having this problem? Thank you!
Hi All Just sorted out my renewal for this year, and found that an auto renewal had been triggered for later renewals. I really feel that this should be an opt in option and not just have a blanket inclusion. Automatic renewal cannot take into account my paydate which in most cases is very unlikely to coincide with the date the payment is taken. This is particularly true of December renewals. I have opted out of it but I feel that being forced to opt out, when an opt in system would be simpler for the end user is not the best way to foster good consumer relations.
When logging into my Secure anywhere desktop password tabit says my keycode has expired, however I renewed it the other day. It also gives me a pop up message that says page could not accessed, try again later. Also, when I go to use the backup&sync app it says invalid login to check username, password and key code.
I never set up password management in WebRoot but noticed an email saying that tomorrow was the last day to 'upgrade' to LastPass. Thinking this is something I *should* do, I logged into my WebRoot account, clicked on 'Manage Passwords' but the LastPass site rejects the email/password combination I entered -- "Invalid email or password!" -- even though it is exactly the same as just entered to access WebRoot and follows LastPass instructions: "Please log in using your Webroot username and password." I searched this forum and apparently this is an long term, ongoing problem. I see Moderators making suggestions and people responding with variations on 'Nope. Doesn't work." Still haven't found a clear answer. There is clearly a disconnect between WebRoot and LastPass. This does not inspire confidence. If YOU have gotten this to work, please advise how you did so. Thanks in advance!
Syncing Folders with Other ComputersKnowledge Base
If you installed SecureAnywhere on multiple computers, you can create shared, synchronized folders between them. Whenever you update data in one of these shared folders (adding, editing, moving, or deleting files), SecureAnywhere automatically makes the same changes in your online account and to all shared folders. This automatic synchronization can be beneficial when you frequently use multiple computers and need access to the most recent files. Unless you disable synchronization on the Webroot Anywhere folder, it is always synchronized with all computers on the same SecureAnywhere account. The procedure below describes how to create additional synchronization folders. Note: Be aware that when you make changes to a folder on one computer, the changes are propagated across the synchronized folders on all computers in the account. For example, if you delete a synchronized folder from one computer, it is removed from all the computers.
How to Back Up FilesKnowledge Base
Instead of synchronizing files, you can archive them instead. For example, you may want to back up tax returns, old photos, and a scanned copy of your passport. These types of documents won't change and don't need to be kept in synchronization with other computers. Your backed-up files are uploaded to secure Webroot servers, which are accessible from your SecureAnywhere account. You can run backups manually or follow the instructions in Creating a backup schedule to create an automatic backup schedule. Backing Up Quicken & Quickbooks FilesKnowledge Base
If you want to use the Backup & Sync feature in Webroot SecureAnywhere to back up financial application data files, please follow the instructions below. In order to properly back up data files, follow the vendor's instructions to create a data backup file and use the Backup & Sync feature to the backup file. You will use the vendor's software to adjust the frequency of backups. Backing up Quicken Data

Start Quicken and click File, then click Backup.
Set the file location. Create a directory that will only be used for backup files. The backup includes five files with the file extensions QTX, QSD, QPH, QEL and QDF.
Next, add your backup directory to Webroot SecureAnywhere. Every time a backup file changes or a new backup file is added to the directory, SecureAnywhere will upload the new changes. For more information on backing up Quicken, see this [url=http://quicken.intuit.com/support/articles/data-fil
So there are three web logins for Webroot? 1) The Webconsole login. 2) The support login 3) The Web Security login I am familiar with the first two and requires seperate accounts for them. I am running Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile Complete on a Samsung S6 and TAB S2 with a 4G sim. When I view the mobile security section of my console the phone number format is displayed differently for the two devices and I am wondering if anyone knows why please? I have tried editing the phone number of the TAB S2 in the console but I get an error message to enter a correct phone number. S6 +XX-XXX-XXX-XXX TAB S2 +X (XXX) XXX-XXXX
Password does not work for "Sync & Backup" section on console. Works to login to account on website.
Password does not work for "Sync & Backup" section on console. Works to login to account on website, however. It worked initially, but after I reinstalled the software it fails to work, message says "username/passord invalid". I reset the password, and it still worked for the website login, but not the console. Please advise.
I am working an issue with Microsoft regarding a virtualized server that was halting without any indications of why and as part of troubleshooting they ran a FLTMC and noted that WRkrn.sys is showing an altitude of 321611 and, MS being MS, they immediately blamed the issue on that wrong altitude. Naturally I argued that this was probably not the case since I could run the same command on any of the other servers without the issue as well as all the workstations also running Webroot and get the same results. Even more unsurprising they didn't care that I had a great number of servers and workstations all running the same version of the software (126.96.36.199) and none of them seem to be having this issue. According to the document from MS (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/ifs/allocated-altitudes) the driver should have an altitude of 320110. Are there any plans to have

I started and logged into RoboForm. I clicked on RoboForm Logins and then Print List (I did not see a Full URL Checkbox) I pressed the save button and saved the resulting HTML file to my hard drive I opened the saved file using Notepad I clicked on Select All I clicked on Copy I then went to the Webroot "Text Box". The cursor was blinking in the text box. but paste does not work.. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Tom Grove
Webroot's Process control is still (After how many years now?) horrid with graphics handling, however high GPU use renders it completely unusable. Under normal situations, I expect that I should be able to select a running process that is being monitored and set it to allowed, especially if it's a patched game. However if the GPU is being pushed to 100%, the Process Control is incapable of displaying both more than one row every three seconds as well as more than five rows total, thus rendering it impossible to whitelist the game via that method. Further testing along this line came to several interesting results as well. Webroot catches pre-compiled cryptominers as malware, doesn't catch custom-compiled ones, but crashes all of them anyway even when they are manually whitelisted. Anyway, how can we best ensure that there is a bug recorded for high GPU use demolishing the Process Control?
My Webroot SecureWhere allows me to have the software loaded on 3 PCs. I set up Password Manager on the first PC and it works great. I want to set it up on the second PC for my son and need to set up a different login since we both visit the same websites but have different logins (such as facebook). Is that possible or do we have to share the login?
Recently installed the SecureAnywhere Compete on my Android phone and when I attempted to login with my credentials i received the following error " Your user credentials are not associated with this SecureAnywhere Complete keycode. Make sure you've created this user on http://my.webrootanywhere.com and try again" inspite of the user credentials being created and associated with the keycode i still keep getting the same error message. Any assistance would be appreciated.
This is one of my favorite functions of WSA. It is so fast (less than two minutes) that I run it multiple times every day, with no interference. One of its features is disk cleanup, which is similar to Microsoft Windows disk cleanup, but this works faster. I wish this function had a disk defrag feature as well (I know I keep harping on this, but I really think it would be worthwhile and really wouldn't constitute bloatware). ;)
