Everything on my computer is working perfectly except for the Webroot Password Manager. When I attempt to log into it from Chrome or Firefox I get an error message: "An error occurred while attempting to contact the server. Please check your internet connection" When I go to my web console and attempt to access passwords I get this error message: "This site says login failed reason=ajax error". I have Webroot complete on a laptop i7, Windows 10 pro, 16 gigs of ram and tons of free disc space. I am able to access all sites on the internet and am networked in to a desktop with no issues. The only place I am getting this ajax error is when I attempt to access the Webroot password manager. I see elsewhere on this forum that Webroot is going to issue a new Password Manager in January or February 2019. Do you think I should just wait and see what happens and if this issue gets fixed or send a support ticket? Any other ideas? Regards, Tom Mitch
Hi, Firefox updated to version 77.0 yesterday, I then checked for add on updates one of which was the Webroot filtering extension. To enable this I was asked to input keycode, however I’m left with a spinning circle on trying to register. after leaving this for over 5 minutes I closed Firefox on re-opening the icon is no longer loading,an I covered?.
Malwarebytes shows 30+ instances of spyware.... Webroot shows 3 So there seems to be a conflict of who is right, who is wrong.... If Malwarebytes is right, that means Webroot isnt that good... If webroot is right, then malwarebytes is lying.... Every antivirus wants to claim how good they are... Just have not seen it yet, or been proven otherwise..... however I am tired of running this for spyware, running that for antivirus, then find out that neither was any good because I still have spyware and viruses....
Please....... please HELP!!!! My name is Alison and I have the technical abilities of a Lima bean :@ I had a message come up from Webroot saying something like......on start up a file/program is trying to enter...then there were options....and... I clicked on the one that said "Block" Now my laptop will not connect to the Internet at all; it just has a big red cross on the Internet icon. I live in the UK and my laptop in my world. Two years 8mnths ago I became chronically ill, following a routine tooth operation; a viral infection entered and affected my central nervous system, rendering me housebound and mainly bed bound. This isn't a sympathy call....it's just to give you some understanding and put you in the picture of the difficulties I may have with anything complicated so please be patient. Thank you in advance, Kindly regards Alison :D

I have 3 PCs protected in my wsac. I recently upgraded 2 of my machines to windows 8. Since then they both are seen duplicated in my console taking away my two free licenses. And I have no idea which of the duplicated is the functional one.
I don't do this with pleasure because I am a big supporter of Webroot and as a such I am pleased to praise good Webroot things but in the same way if something smells .... yeah, that's life and a coin has always two sides ;) It is not a secret that I have the long lasting problems with: 1) the missing padlock 2) the firewall strangely dealing with some applications on my PC 3) the malfunctions of WebShield in Opera and IE9. It's a quarter of a year when I started to communicate with Webroot staff via the support inbox. I have sent detailed informations and have exchanged a lot of things with the support, I have collected and have sent a few logs and so on. In the beginning and middle of November I have been informed that the issues I have reported are in queue to be addressed but they can't give me a timeline for any fixes right now. OK, I can understand that if I am experiencing any problems alone and are not hundreds of other users reporting them, I have to give way to more import
Hi, I have a question about the WSA firewall. It is declared that WSA firewall need windows firewall to work, it is an added protection. However, when I set the WSA firewall with block one process called "iexplorer.exe" which is ie browser. And then I set the windows firewall to allow the connection for "iexplorer.exe". The result is blocking the internet for browser. Further more when I turned off the windows firewall, WSA pops out an dialog to warn me. I clicked "No" for not activate the windows firewall, and WSA firewall is still open. In this situation, I still can't use IE to surf the internet. The question is, is WSA firewall independent with windows firewall? If no, why suggest to open windows firewall? If yes, why I turned off the windows firewall, and WSA firewall still works? I check the previous discussions as well, but it didn't mention abou

When using the password managagement feature I want to be able to type in a site and have it log me in automatically without having to click the autofill popup. If I check the password section of the mywebroot console, the sites I want to auto login to have the boxes checked for automatic fill and automatic login. Is there a way to do this without clicking the autofill button at every login page?
Been with Webroot for over 6 years now. I have done this now each time. I was told this round though to call Sales... Which I did and told they don't add time to current keycodes. Said yet they have, done it many time.. reply was "no we haven't, never have... yet I wont argue with you about it"... he wasn't being rude, just matter of fact attitude. Anyways, I take great dissatisfaction from this. As said this has been done so many times and the reason why I stay with webroot as the ease of it as some systems on my 5 license aren't easily accessible. So I ask, is there anyone that can do what has been done 5 or 6 times already without an issue. All has been great in the past with this very issue up until now. Thank you and I look forward to y our reply.
Hi, folks, My site records aren't always getting correctly stored when I generate a password and save it via the Passwords toolbar. So when I create or modify a site record, I log out of the site, close the window, then go to Passwords in the WSA console to inspect the site record, launch and test. The hitch is that the console doesn't update after I create or update a site record. Every time I make a change via the toolbar, I have to kick the console in the head to get the site data to refresh. Because I haven't found a better way, I use the browser controls to refresh, and that means I have to reauthenticate. That is a pain if I have to do a string of tweaks to get a site record right. How can I get the Passwords console page and toolbar to play together better? Thanks, LauraB (edits: grammar and duplicate signatures)
1. I've had WSA IS installed for about a month or so. I'm just learning about using it. However, I couldn't pass up the NewEgg deal of 5-user WSA Complete. Can I add on this new license to my current license even though they are different versions? If not, should I update with the new license key or just hold off until my current license expires? 2. I purchased the 5 -user license for my family members. I talked my son into reluctantly installing WSA. But, it apparently caused a problem for him and now he's mad at me. The problem it apparently caused is related to WinAmp. A quote from his was "I'm not impressed with it deleting all my playlists and preferences in Winamp." Does anyone have any experience with this and/or why it happened or what to do about it?

I find that Password manager doesn't work on ANY browser! Am I wrong?? I even tried the tip that I found of rolling my firefox browser back to previous version, with no luck. (Originally I used Chrome) When will this be fixed? I cannot even access my passwords AT ALL!!! NOT HAPPY.
I"m trying to set up my secure anywhere complete account on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and have received the following error message after entering my E-mail address, Password and Keycode: Error Account creation failed. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. (WHICH IT DOES) Raw Error: com.webroo.engine. LmExceptions$WRLicenseManagerInvalid Keycode: License check failed due to invalid keycode. Response code:1 Can someone help me create my account? I know that I have the right keycode and password (checked it 5 times). Thanks, MChernick
No matter how many times I try, after SecureAnywhere restart, or system reboot, some settings I change are reset to default. In my case these settings are: - Scan Settings -> "Show the "Authenticating Files" popup... - Access Control -> Require the (..) CAPTCHA (...) critical (...) I did not change much, so I do not know how many more can be affected. But some of the setting stay permanent, for example reducing logging or resource usage. After changing setting I get warning about possible settings override from WebConsole. As I chose "User Configuration" for every registered PC, I do not understand this whole situation.
Been using Windows 8 for about 3 weeks now. Never had a problem logging in with my live (google) account. So yesterday I install WISC. I posted another issue earlier about options missing from the WISC firewall and later got a great explantion that the Windows firewall does just fine so therefore there are no options in WISC in Win 8 save for On or Off. Then why have it at all??? But that's another subject. Before I learned of this relevation, I rebooted my PC thinking the firewall options in WISC would maybe show up. I'll never know because now I CAN'T LOG IN TO MY COMPUTER!. Same pw as I've been using for 3 weeks yet now all of a sudden I get the "wrong password" message. Yet I can still log in w/that pw everywhere else. Even still, I reset my pw via MS live but I still can't log in to my computer. I did some Google searching and came across two posts: ________________________________

"Samsung NP300E5C-A07US
Intel Core i3-2370
Intel HD Graphics
