I recently discovered that optimization stops before the scan is completed and always stops at the same place. I also found that the file on which it stops does not exist. I am not sure whether the scan is actually completed and just does not reflect that in the progression or, the optimization actually stops before it is completed. How can I tell and if it is the latter, how do I fix it? I have removed and reloaded the program 4 times and this continues to happen. The is a relatively new event that I discovered about a month ago.I would appreciate any help / insight. Thanks much.Joseph
I bought my product from Amazon and it’s a download version. It’s my first time of using this product called Webroot Internet Security Complete 5 device 1 year subscription and need some help. I listed here my questions are:Is the support free? I didn’t find support by chat. What’s the best way of getting help? I want to install a second copy to my laptop but don’t know how to do it. Any help is appreciated.
I’ve put a question in to support but they are a bit slow at the moment so I wondered if anyone has an idea to solve a problem. Webroot was working fine when I switched off the PC. When booted up the next day I noticed the webroot shortcut was missing and my sync icons were gone.The program is still in the program list but will not open.I decided to uninstall for a fresh install. It will not uninstall. Using standard uninstall I get the message “It is necessary to log in as an administrator to access this feature”.I have now tried every other way I could find on the web in normal and safe mode. None will uninstall. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi guys, So this is something odd. I was renewing my license on my computer. I accidentally typed the last digit wrong and it gave me an error (as expected). I then typed it correctly but I added 2 extra digits just in case to the end just to see what happens. But it still activiated... which is odd. But on the app, the correct license was showing with out the 2 extra digits. So it seems that even if you add extra digits to the end of the license, as long as everything before is correct, the app will accept the license.WR devs, can you confirm? Best.

Hi We encounter a problem on those PC in the company will freeze.I had created a tickets to webroot ticketing systems, but i found out there are few days nobody reply my post. Because support team request me to upload the webroot log to them.Now still dont have anyone support me or even reply on the update status. Webroot please reply my email or either in the ticketing system. We need the update status.Else the client decision may drop the next renewal (almost renew period).

Hi all,Last Friday, I have tried to purchase "webroot secure anywhere internet security complete 5 device 1 year subscription" (through WEBROOT’s official website).Upon clicking the "buy now" button, I was prompted with an error:"please correct the following errors and try again.card - one or more fields in the request contains invalid data."However, my credit card has already been charged the displayed amount of $29.99, and I have double confirmed with the card center that it has been billed.I have also checked my email and confirmed that I have not received a purchase confirmation email, instead there was an email prompting me that the purchase was not completed and I still have the item in my shopping cart.I have immediately contacted support through their “Talk to WEBROOT support” message system, and provided the purchase order code, but so far it has been 3 working days and I have yet to receive a reply from them.Please kindly let me know how else I might seek help.Thank you!Paul
Hello Everyone.I remmeber long time ago when I purchased my Computer which has a SSD Drive, I was told from the Community that If you are using Secure Erase, you shaould leave It at the lowest Value Normal, Other wise you can Damage your SSD Drive. When clicking the “See the Report”, “Managing Password”, “My Account”, and etc buttons. The functions do not launch. I was busy printing a report from Firefox (IPVM site) when a window change request poped up, which I assumed was adobe wanting to write the PDF to the folder. Immediatly after that I received a warning message from windows security app… Any assistnace will be appreciated.

I have a question please: Since I have the Webroot Complete, Is it ok to have the Malawarebytes Premium ? When performing some cleanup I just noticed that I have a large number of processes listed under Active Connections. This is unusual as I normally have but a handful. I have uninstalled WR and reinstalled which seemed to work at first but is now beginning to add more and more programs to the list. I would very much appreciate any info or insights anyone may have. How to I get past the signin for creating a ticket? I enter my email address and then it prompts for a password. I enter the password but nothing happens except the password entry is erased. Each screen has a button to enable cookies. I click the button each time before making an entry, but nothing works. I have tried different browsers (Firefox, Google Chrome) with the same result.
Using Webroot V126.96.36.199 Windows 10 2004 and Google Chrome latest version. I have noticed if I click on access web console or Get customer support from the webroot interface nothing happens, the webpage no longer opens. If I shut down webroot and restart without restarting my pc it works. Also if I change the windows default browser to another all works fine. Anyone else able to replicate this issue?
Sorry to bother, but I spent 2 days trying to find a solution here as I haven’t gotten a response from the message I sent to Customer Support. Any help will be much appreciated with the following issues: Account Activation Needed appears periodically and when I activate it, I am sent to the create a new account page. Program itself indicates that my status is active & recognizes the keycode that I used to renew. Web Console will let me log in, but immediately logs me out back to the log in page. No error codes are indicated When trying to reach customer support, I am prompted with message that wants a password as they have already reached me, but I have not received any emails from them nor have I gotten an email when I clicked “forgot password” ( I check my spam and blocked email contact list to see if there was a problem there) By the way, I really like using Webroot and know the issues I have can be corrected. Hi there, I have been using Webroot for a while now, and mostly I find it a nice addition to my security suite, however one BIG problem I have comes from the Identity protection module. When ever I am playing online games that rely on keystroke input, if I tab to another window and tab back in, my game will process several key inputs that I did not play, the biggest offenders for this are World of Warcraft and Destiny 2, but I have seen the problem with other mmos and online games. Specifically it seems this issue is to do with the way identity protection encrypts keystrokes, turning off identity protection completely resolves the issue, however, since I am paying for software with one of its main selling points being identity protection I would appreciate a better solution. Yes I have made exceptions for the game exe files and such as the first line support will suggest, I have tested this with multiple games and with multiple combinations of software running in the backgroun
Hi, Firefox updated to version 77.0 yesterday, I then checked for add on updates one of which was the Webroot filtering extension. To enable this I was asked to input keycode, however I’m left with a spinning circle on trying to register. after leaving this for over 5 minutes I closed Firefox on re-opening the icon is no longer loading,an I covered?.
