Installed: Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete, version 22.214.171.124, Windows 7 Pro, 64bit On every bootup, the User Account Control panel appears asking if I want to allow Webroot Secure Anywhere to make changes to this computer. The problem only recently started. Searching this forum I've found one thread here that suggested turning off UAC. That's a convenient solution for anyone who doesn't care about security, but it's a no-go here. [b]What I need to know is why did this only recently start and how to resolve the issue (in a responsible & professional way).[/b]

Hello! New to the forum, signed up because I an heavily invested in the answer to this question. I currently depend on the webroot password manager extension in firefox for all my passwords. I'm currently on firefox 56 and the extension is flagged as Legacy. I've heard about the update to firefox 57 coming this month, and I'm worried that the password manager will no longer work properly. Additionally, I cannot find the extension in the Chrome store either. I'd really like to keep using the webroot password manager, but if it disappears from all browsers I will have to abandon it. Does anyone know if there are plans to release a new version of the extension compatible with modern browsers?
Hi all, Has anyone experienced this before? Although Chrome is located at C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplication When it is added to Identity protection it shows up as [img]https://d1qy7qyune0vt1.cloudfront.net/webroot-en/attachment/23258iC47031A16B94AF8F.jpg[/img]Even if I "push" a webroot update, it will appear with the correct address, within a day or so, this address appears. The really odd part is this address does not exist on my conputer and I don't have hidden files. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Theresa
My wife's phone is one of the devices protected by my subscription. She's currently out travelling while she has changed mobile network provider. Today, she changed the sim card in her phone, at which point the sim card lock (which I wasn't aware of) kicked in. The problem is that when she tries to enter the password to unlock the phone, no keyboard shows up. it's an unmodified nexus 5. Could you please advice me how to help her unlock the phone? Because of the Firefox 40 update I want to use Revo Uninstaller to remore Webroot and all accosiated files from my PC as I try and get back to a happy place..I do not want to lose the file that contains the websites and their passwords. I want it available when I reinstall webroot.

Hi! I have had Webroot for a few years new. I recently purchased a new SecureAnywhere Complete from Best Buy because my subscription was due to expire. I have activated the new keycode and my email shows I have 'Access' to passwords along with the new keycode when I look at my account online, however when I log into the webroot toolbar, I get an error 'Unkown email address'. I have tried the toolbar fix as well as uninstalling & reinstalling webroot using the new CD it came with from my recent Best Buy purchase. I have also noticed that within the last year, my PC has slowed down considerably, particularly when web browsing. It has gradually gotten worse within the last few months. Web pages sometimes take rather long to open or sometimes I experience the windows freezing up. My PC recently crashed last week. Is this something Webroot support can fix? I know the Password Manager issue is something Webroot support can likely fix, but what about the slow browsing issues? Is
Hi, This is the second time Webroot wouldn't let me use Explorer 11. I uninstalled Webroot last week and used the built - in Windows Defender and Hitman Pro and both caught the problem. Webroot didn't. Hi Everyone, I have recently purchased Webroot Complete, and everything is going fine except the toolbar is missing. I have tried to research this, and I tried to reinstall the toolbar. But it just said it was already installed. I am using Firefox. Is there anything else I should try? I read somewhere about a "clean install." Does this mean I have to uninstall the entire thing and start again? Also, when I confirmed my email for this forum, it said something funny in the confirmation email. There was a scarlet bar, and it said, "Be careful! This sender failed our fraud detection checks." Does anyone know what this refers to? Thank you, P.
I just bought a new PC and the salesman was speaking very highly of Webroot. So, I thought I'd give it a try. Setting up my PC I tried to install the latest Firefox browser that Webroot deleted without any warning more than once. Oh, well... so I use my Macbook that already has Firefox running for some time without any problems whatsoever. Leave it to Webroot. My Macbook froze as I use Firefox so bad, nothing works. Can't even close Firefox even trying to force close it doesn't work. Great! I am waiting for the next surprise. Oh, yeah I also try to use password manager and I get a message that the password I use to log in doesn't exist. Great product. Where do I give it a one star?
