Hi again! A few days ago, I asked if my Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete 188.8.131.52, would be compatible with the new Windows 10, and the answer was yes, the version 9's would be. So I did download Windows 10 and now my PC tells me that it isn't compatible. I double checked the operating system requirements and Windows 10 32- and 64-bit were listed. I'm open to suggestions, if anyone can tell me my next step. Thanks for your time!
I get notifications multpile times a day that both Webroot and Windows defender are turned off. This has happened since I had to uninstall and then reinstall Webroot to my computer. I am thinkinging there were possibly some files that didn’t fully get removed during the install that are now causing an issue with windows recognizing webroot. Please let me know how this can be fixed. I am concerned by it not only because it is annoying, but I do not want my computer left vulnerable since my webroot program now seems to freeze, hang, or close it self down at random times. I am on Windows Home, Dell Inspirion 7777, Please advise.
I just renewed my Webroot softward. I went to the Webroot console and updated my Key Code. Then I was sent an email so I can confirm, but it's asking me to enter certain letters from my "Security Code". What is that? It's not the Key Code. It's not my password. Where do I find this?
I am using HRD Software LLC "Ham Radio Deluxe" which uses "alerter.exe". Webroot reports this as an infection. How do I add an excepton in Webroot to ignore this.? Thank you, Tom Grove
The green circle that denotes that folders/files have been synced to the cloud shows up on the main storage folders but on none of the subfolders or files. It does not show up at all on the Webroot Anywhere folder. The files appear to be synced correctly. The green circle is just not showing up except on the main folders. This occured after I was instructed by tech support to remove all folders from the cloud and start over. (something had caused all my folders/files..including the Webroot Anywhere folder.... to disappear from the 'Folders' section of the "Backup and Sync" settings.) When I created the new empty folders & linked them to my pc, they showed with the green circle. After adding subfolders/files, the green circle does not show on the added folders/files. The folders/files are being synced to the cloud. I miss having the green circle ... it saves me time...not having to check to make sure my doc has synced
About a week ago (give or take), my Prevx software switched over to Webroot. I honestly don't know what changes were made, but I DO know that some were. Round about the same time, my Remote Desktop Connection to another system stopped working. When trying to connect from my WinXP machine to my Win7 machine, I started getting the following error: An authentication error has occurred (Code: 0x507). Anyone know what might have happened? My next step is to reload a restore point of a couple weeks back, but I'd like to avoid this if there's a simple fix. Thanks for any help.
I just paid for and activated my account for WSA Complete and am trying to set up the Password Manager, but when I go to my web console I have an error message in the Passwords box that states: "An error has occurred during account creation. Please contact Webroot Customer Support." Why am I not allowed to set this up? Thanks in advance
I have recently installed WSA complete with high hopes. I particularly liked the idea of being able to easily merge my Lastpass list into Webroot with their common PM architecture. Unfortunately I have encountered a couple of really unacceptable barriers along the way. First I cannot get the PM toolbar to install on the chrome browser. I have reinstalled Webroot. I have run the toolbar fix. I have rebooted untold times. Nothing. The second problem is that I cannot get the Webroot password manager to read the Lastpass exported CSV file. It gets an error reading it and I don't know where to look. I have regenerated it a couple of times and I get the same error. I am at my wits end. Any ideas.
When viewing pictures in webroot anywhere folder they are fine but when i go online and view(in image mode) them they are upside down, turned to the left-right and also alot of times they dont show at all?.Also there should be a setting when viewing pictures online it switches to image mode.
Task Mgr identified as a Webroot Process, but I could not find a ref on other search engines. Also, sometimes there would be 2 of these processes running. Program stored in C:Program FilesBwxxojkxDQMARvfy.exe -ul. Odd that I have it on 1 pc , but not the other. Both use Webroot SecureAnyWhere complete. Thanks for any info.
tried all work rounds for this, reinstaller webroot a few times, tried toolbarfix various times, toolbar does not appear in the toolbars list in firefox, would the fact I am running Lastpass as well have any infuence on things. getting a bit frustrating
Discovered McAfee is still on my pc when they billed me for another year :@ Called them and got that issue resolved but after searching internet and some posts in this forum, regarding McAfee, I find it seems to be all over the place in my pc. When I clicked on McAfee folders a drop-down menu offered some different choices, amoung them : "scan with webroot" (which I did & no threats were found), "Webroot permanently erase" and another option "Delete" (which I assume is Windows). In my pc I do not have anything McAfee listed in my uninstall program section, yet I seem to be finding McA. folders all over the place. When I have clicked on "delete" Windows File Operation requests my permission to make changes to my computer (I assume that deleting the files are the changes), sometimes when I click delete I get a "recycling window" . I also found a software removal tool (from Google, but I don't really have any idea what it would do or what it
Everytime I run "scan my computer" using the webroot secureanywhere complete I get "4" threats removed (see image). How can I find out which "threats" were removed. I have saved the scan log. Can somebody help me? Thanks!!
Hi , First I would like to say that I am really impressed with this software . Good Job :D My question is does this software have email protection ? I can not find the settings so I am assuming it doesn't , unless I have overlooked it . Thanks
Is there a way in Windows 10 to get a notification when Secure Anywhere gets updated? This morning on the bus i noticed that my beta's been updated to version ****.19 It's scary that SA works so perfectly & smoothly. One might even forget that virusses & malware exists when using SA.
I’m trying to create a LastPass account. My WebRoot console has a “Manage Passwords” button which takes me to a LastPass account setup page. But when I click on the “Get Started” link and enter my WebRoot credentials (as it requests), it won’t accept them. Instead, I get “Please review the information you entered and try again.” What’s up?
