Renewal glitch

Hi guys,

 

So this is something odd. I was renewing my license on my computer. I accidentally typed the last digit wrong and it gave me an error (as expected). I then typed it correctly but I added 2 extra digits just in case to the end just to see what happens. But it still activiated... which is odd. But on the app, the correct license was showing with out the 2 extra digits. So it seems that even if you add extra digits to the end of the license, as long as everything before is correct, the app will accept the license.

WR devs, can you confirm?

It’s best to ask support as the developers don’t visit the community that often, it does sound odd to me as well. Webroot Customer Service
