Under Utilities>System Control, I saw that a file named ‘Search.exe’ had a possible leak. Before researching what ‘Search.exe’ actual is/does, I accidentally  blocked it instead of clicking on ‘Monitor”. Now, I am unable to click on my ‘Type here to search’  in my searchbox. Does anyone know how I can re-enable the ‘Search.exe’ file/program so I can get my ability to search files, programs etc??

Hello @DrewBoo1984

I don’t know if support can help but it’s the only thing I can think of.

For each process, select one of the following radio buttons:

  • Allow — The process is allowed to run on your system.
  • Monitor — Webroot SecureAnywhere will watch the process and open an alert on suspicious activity. Any process flagged as monitored displays at the top of the list.
  • Block — The process is blocked from running on your system. Do NOT block a process unless you are absolutely certain it is non-essential.

Hello @DrewBoo1984

Lets see if it’s in Quarantine and restore if it’s listed if not it’s best to contact support. It’s the only thing I can think of since last night.
