Hello stringchopper and welcome to the forum.
While I cannot be certain if this is the situation in your case, I suspect that a prior infection was removed from the system, and what you are seeing isn't the result of the 'current' scan, but rather a combination of both prior and current scan results.
You can check information by looking at the PC Security function on the left hand side of the main interface to view the scan statistics.
