Hi,
My wife got a new Win 10 laptop a week ago, and she started to get the messages about Defender and WSA being turned off on Wed.  Looks like her PC can be another candidate for testing the fix.

GaryG45 & PoPCorn...thanks for the feedback.

Sounds good, and promising...:D
I did contact microsoft about this issue their response was remove webroot and use windows defender, I read a article recently where microsoft said it was upgrading windows defender and if you are using it then it will shut down any program it deems as a threat? I attached microsoft's response to this problem.

Hi Daniel, I have this problem on two desktop windows 10 computers, but our laptop and tablet both running windows 10 with webroot do not have this problem, and all four devices have the questionable update that occured on 3/1 , just so you know I did restore one of the desktop computers that has the problem to a date before 3/1 and problem stopped , but as you know windows 10 forces updates so the next day the update was back in and problem came back, I guess I will give up for now and wait for either Webroot or Microsoft to come up with a answer, but I am not going to use windows defender, thanks Scott.

OK, let me know if I can help anymore with this issue, Scott.
Hi daniel , thought you might like to see what pops up every few hours, and here is what is shown in security center, Scott.

I already did, Scott.

?

It's possible to do this but I would prefer ? or ? to approve moving all the links. As we would need to ask ? what he thinks. There are alot of links to try and move into this one thread,:D

OK Daniel , I will remove Webroot that will allow windows defender to turn on then I will wait a few hours , I should know if message is stopped within one hour, if it stops then I will reinstall webroot which will automatically turn off windows defender, if this works then it seems that microsoft is pushing windows 10 users to use windows defender as stated in reply from microsoft support tech which you read on microsoft community, I will let you know results, thanks Scott.
Turn off Windows Defender before reinstalling WSA from the page I showed you above.

Thanks,

Daniel

Sherry, I did as you asked and did not import old setting , I will update probably Thursday 3/10 after it runs for a while and to see if pop up message comes back, Scott is OK instead of loosenutz, thanks Scott.
Thanks Scott that was important not to import old settings as it's keep other info as well so it's a clean reinstall!

Thanx for the link Sherry, I somehow missed this one?
Daniel , new issue popped up in event viewer ? thoughts thanks Scott.

I was just told by Webroot support to change services for security center from delayed to automatic and this is the fix for the problem, but this was tried days ago and doesn't work , this is the fix tech support is telling customers ? and when I told them it doesn't work and there was suppose to be a real fix soon then no reply from tech support, I thought Daniel had contacted Nic and they were working on a fix but now I am told this is the fix ????????????????????????????? not sure what's going on ????????

I am also getting this error in the Windows system log (Win 10 64bit WR version 9.0.8.72) after every reboot.
The wrUrlFlt service failed to start due to the following error:
There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.

Until the problem is fixed by Webroot, am I protected?  IS URL filtering working or not?
