dear all,

i am a corporate end users and my pcs here is actually behind firewall and proxy servers.

i have having difficulties perform the installations so i white listed all the g*.p4.webrootcloudav.com hosts and created a proxy by pass for those hosts. the installation went on flawlessly.

now after the installation, the web console cannot get the client updates on the preset polling intervals. many days have passed and still cannot get any client to connected.

is that means i have more host server need to be by passed?

please advice.

Hi @ and welcome to the Webroot Community!

By default Webroot automatically detects the proxy settings on your client and should use them for the connection to the management servers. As it uses HTTP/HTTPS for its connections there should be no need to change any firewall rules.

Could you check if your getting any error message on your firewall/proxy?
You could also try to do a fresh installation and specify the parameters for your proxy server. You'll find them either in the documentation or at the bottom of this KB entry: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-Education/Recommended-Proxy-Firewall-Bypass-List/ta-p/55156

If nothing helps I would suggest to contact support so that they can look at your specific setup. http://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/support-business
