I usually buy all sorts of things online. And last week I had my card used in california at a mcdonalds. The kicker is that I live in ky. I am assuming someone had to get my info online. I need to know how to protect my info or figure out how it happened

I would suggest that you contact your card holder and tell them and they will help you sort it out and in most cases they will send you a new card with a new number.
