WebRoot filtering extension shut off by FireFox
FireFox version 50.1.0 Webroot ext 18.104.22.168 When I open Firefox this morning I was notified that FF disabled WR filtering extension because FF could not verify it. This is from the FF site: What can I do if Firefox disables an installed add-on? If an unsigned add-on is disabled, you won't be able to use it and the Add-ons manager will show a message that the add-on could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. You can remove the add-on from Firefox and then reinstall a signed version from the Mozilla Add-ons site if one is available. If a signed version is not available, contact the add-on developer or vendor to see if they can offer an updated and signed version of that add-on. You can also ask them to get their add-on signed. The

Does this version have the same speed and low footprint of the gamer AV?
I have been using the gamer version of Webroot, but I am confused. I was going tobuy the Internet Security Plus version because of the added Password manager feature. However, I can't determine if the the Plus version is as fast and low memory as the gamer version. Or is the gamer version running a different way that the Plus version doesn't/cant? Should I stick with the gamer version and get a seperate password manager program?

Missing the Icon, where did it go to
Greetings, that little " Green Icon " that indicates a safe site has disappeared. I was searching for a crock pot on Google and that small Greenish Icon is absent for some reason. At first, there is an indication that it will appear but after a " wheel " spins for a few seconds, it just goes blank. I do like knowing if Webroot considers a particular website safe to click on so it would be nice to have that peace of mind ( the Green Icon ) back functioning as it did just yesterday. Thanks all !

System Analyzer Message
I am a new user and just installed Webroot. Why does the Webroot Analyzer Results window report that anti-virus and anti-spyware is installed but not protecting the system? I do not see where to turn these on.
After installing MacOS Sierra, Webroot constantly crashes.
I installed MacOS Sierra on my iMac. Now Webroot constantly crashes ... to the point that it's unusable. I had the latest version of Webroot installed. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem short of going through the tedious process of rolling back Sierra to El Capitan ... something I really don't want to do.
just installed the disk, purchased from best buy, key code expires in 23 days...Help
Recieved Webroot Secure anywhere Internet Security as a package deal when we purchased a new laptop. Sat down to install the disk today, after the preinstalled McAfee expired, and it says that my key code expires in 23 days. Shouldn't it be valid for 1 year after the date of install since I pulled the sticker off the key code? VERY CONFUSED!
New Technical Support account
After submitting a ticket last night, I was given a link to download wsalogs, which I ran. After uploading the necessary files, it opened a Technical Support website (as it informed me it would) but it seems to have created a new account for me. I've also received an email with logon information, with a different password from what I normally use. So, do I now use this new password going forward, or is this a one-off for the wsalogs ticket?
Why doesn’t SecureAnywhere find Cookies anymore like the previous version did?
This change was made because our insight into how to treat them has evolved since they were introduced. Cookies are designed to provide a service that many internet users find beneficial by delivering directly to you specific information based on your preferences. For instance, if you make frequent purchases from an online store, you might see an advertisement for a sale at that store when browsing other pages. The latest browsers enable you to easily manage your own cookie settings. Browsers have cookie protections built in, and you can delete or even block cookies altogether, if you’re concerned about tracking. Each browser has slightly different instructions on how to set these configurations. To find out more, we recommend consulting the Help documentation available for each of your browsers. For too long, the security industry – including Webroot – has expected our customers to manage security products for themselves. Quarantining relati
All keyboards quit working IMMEDIATELY after install
Hello webroot community, I have been trying to decide on a new antivirus product and have heard good things about Webroot throughout my reverse code engineering community. I do application/network security for a living, so I'm no newbie. I've tried installing a trial version of Webroot SecureAnywhere Essentials 2 times now. Both times, IMMEDIATELY after the install is done, my laptop keyboard and any USB keyboard stop working. I can reboot, go into safe mode, etc, but they are still completely disfunctional (even at the windows logon screen.) I am running a COMPLETELY FRESH copy of Windows 7 Home Premium on my brand new Asus Zenbook UX31E. I almost decided to just move on to another virus scanner because I didn't want to mess with the trouble of trying to get it resolved, but I am hoping that you guys may show some type of consolation (discount on my license) for all the problems. I am a computer professional, so I don't need you to baby me along. There is no virus on my computer. It
WSA Internet Security + and MBAM Pro Not Working Well Together
On Win XP Computer I have the Following Problem: Both WSA and MBAM Pro work well together until I do a Full Scan with MBAM Pro. It takes over 1 hour for scan to complete. I also noticed that WSA is using 50+ % CPU while MBAM scans. Computer freezes for about 5 minutes after scan completes and after a restart computer runs very slow for about 5 minutes. I did a full Uninstall and reinstall of both programs and problem still there. I disabled WSA from Task Bar Notification Area and ran a Full Scan with MBAM Pro. Scanned normal, 30 minutes. Restarted computer and computer running normal. Can't do a full scan with MBAM Pro with WSA enabled. Trouble Ticket sent to CS about this problem.
I have installed WSA Essentials 2012 and have a question/concern regarding the firewall. I have set the firewall mode to "Warn if any process connects to the internet unless explicitly allowed". This seems to be working each time I open a new appliction (that needs network access) I get a popup asking if I should allow it. So far so good... However, I noticed in the popup that there is a line stating "Allowing in 60 seconds" and this counts down to 0 and then allows access. After the 60 seconds the dialog box is recreated on the screen and the countdown start again (it does this a couple of times), though after the first 60 seconds the app is granted access. This does not seem like a secure feature. If a unwated app tries to send information and I am away from the screen, it will be allowed in 60 seconds? Can anyone confirm that this is the way this works? Is there anyway to change the behavior to not allow the connection by default? Unless I am not
Confused by Identity Shield settings
I'm confused about the settings for Identity Shield. There are 3 different sections. There is the Identity Shield settings tab (DNS, screen capture, man-in-middle, etc) There is the Protected Application list There is the Protected Websites list So, my questions are: 1) If an application is not listed in the Protected Apps list, do any of the settings from the Shield tab or the Protected Websites apply when using that app? 2) Are the Protected Website settings active when using *any* browser? If not, which browsers are supported? Must they appear in the Protected Apps list to have this protection? 3) In the Shield Tab settings one option is "prevent programs from accessing protected credentials". What are protected credentials and where/how are they determined? 4) Similar question to #3 but for the "Allow trusted screen capture programs access to protected screen contents". Where is the list of trusted screen capture programs and how is it deter
