I bought my program as a package through Best Buy (Internet Security Plus), but I was a Webroot fan/customer for many years before that. Yesterday, I was able to use the “Optimizer” function in the Utility page. Fast forward one day (today) and the option is gone and it looks like that option is only available with the Internet Security Complete subscription. Is the Best Buy subscription only for Internet Security Plus, or should I be getting the Internet Security Complete subscription? Thanks, Ken McKinley
I have a small NAS attached to my network. I have it mapped as the Z: drive on the computers on the network. I want to periodically scan the drive with Webroot from one of those computers (I don’t care which one, as long as I can get it to work). That does not seem to be possible right now. When I right-click on the Z: drive in File Explorer and select Scan with Webroot, it only scans the root directory and quits. If I select a folder below the root, it scans that folder but none of its sub-folders.So, it appears that on a mapped network drive Webroot is unable to scan anything more than a single directory at a time. This is a problem/defect that appears to go back at least 8 years. The only other reference I could find on here was a topic that was created 8 years ago describing the same problem. The most recent post in that topic was 6 years ago and the problem still existed then.Has the defect been corrected since then? If so, what do I need to do to persuade Webroot to scan more than
Having used webroot for several years I've never before encountered this issue... but now, each and every day I get a popup near the system tray letting me know that my "personal security report" is ready to view. OK, enough already. I don't need to see this on a daily basis. Can someone let me know how to disable this? Thanks!
I can’t login or reset password and have not received an email to reset the password. Webroot came with a laptop purchased at Best Buy. I tried to renew online and was billed 4 times. I have spoken with customer service and sales in an attempt to correct the problem. I purchased a new license from customer service and was sent an email that contained the download information. I have tried to download; I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I have tried to logon for customer service only to be repeatedly logged out. I’m more than frustrated. Prior to all of this I held on line for over 45 minutes for a support tech. I’m thinking it’s time to contact the Better Business Bureau.

Pretty stupid question since it says subscription is “active” on my panel, but I’m still kind of paranoid, getting somewhat mixed answers online, and I can’t seem to find the same question on this site. And I literally just made an account to post this question. But anyway, does it automatically renew? It says “active” near where it says subscription and I want to make sure.
Good day ! I used the combo Adguard (pro) with Webroot IS from several years with no problem and happiness. Yesterday , I received the update on my Window PC Webroot agent to version 22.214.171.124, so far, so good And suddenly , all my browser (Edge,Chrome, Firefox) stop responding and won’t load any web page. After investigation, I remove Adguard Window PC agent and it resolve the problem , my browser breath again… I tried to exclude Adguard module in Webroot but it doesn’t work. is there a conflict between the new version of Webroot and Adguard ? I would love to keep both program on my PC Note : I’ve got the same problem with my wife PC Thanks and have a nice day

Took over IT support for a new client. The previous client had Webroot installed and we need to get it removed from multiple machines. Its Webroot Secure Anywhere and will not allow us to uninstall. It says its managed by the Web Console and changes must be performed centrally. Please help. Created a customer support ticket, but have not received a response.
I got a new keycode from Amazon, but the Webroot app keeps telling me I need to activate my account. I tried several times to log into my account, but it keeps logging me back out before I can even click on anything (it’s really instantaneous). I work during the hours Webroot technical support is available by phone. I called once and was told I would be on hold for approximately one hour. I have to work so that wasn’t doable. I called again and was told 35 minutes. I’ve tried email (they gave me a number to call that turned out to be a fax number once, and then another number that is available during business hours only), I’ve tried to open five different requests, which it assures me will be answered within 24 to 48 hours, but it will be a week tomorrow. I get the error message “Error(URFL601):You must confirm your previous registration before continuing.” I am about ready to uninstall the program and put Kaspersky or Norton in.
I’ve battling most of this week to understand why I cannot generate a trusted self-signed development certificate for use on localhost. By accident I stumbled on the fact that Webroot blocks this from happening; with no warning. Disabling Webroot allows the the process to produce a trusted certificate. Short of just disabling Webroot during development work, which would then render the subscription virtually pointless, is there a way around this? I can’t find anything obvious in the settings to allow this process to continue/complete.
I renewed my Webroot Secure Anywhere account three months ago on a laptop that I have had for several years and continue to use. That subscription allows up to three devices. I have a second laptop that was recently purchased. The antivirus software that came with it for a trial period has expired. When I added the keycode from the renewed subscription from that was renewed 3 months ago, it shows my status as active but the subscription is expired. How do I ensure that my machine is safe? How can I check to see what, if any other devices, are on that same subscription? It looks like in the management console you can “add a PC” but when I click on the “+” button, it wants me to buy or upgrade.Thank you.
I bought a new keycode of a 1 year subscription Webroot Internet Security Plus for 3 devices from Walmart for $40 less than a month ago. Entered the new keycode on my dad’s PC and works perfectly. Then I entered it on my laptop and again it activated perfectly like every year. Never had a problem with webroot until now. But this time after a few days, 15 days I believe, after turning on my laptop I got a pop up message saying my subscription has been expired or 38 days and needed to renew or uninstall webroot. Even though I had already activated the new keycode recently. When I tried to enter the keycode it said it was invalid and to enter a valid one. I checked the keycode that supposedly expired and it was the new one I just recently purchased at walmart. I uninstalled and installed the program again. When asked to enter keycode to finish installing again it says its invalid and enter a valid one. It has not been a month and subscription expired. I already submitted a support ticket
I just purchased Total Tech Support membership with the Internet Security Software for my PC. I was told that when I got home all I had to do is open the Webroot Icon on my computer and I would be instructed to add the Key Code to start the process. When I opened my email from Best Buy, it had a prompt that said “Install Internet Security. I pressed that prompt and It took me to a screen where it asked me for my Key Code and also to sign up for the Internet Security Plan for $249.00 and wanted me to give my credit card info. Note, I have already paid for the subscription at the store. I am confused. There was nothing on my computers WebRoot icon that asked me for the Key Code. It only stated that my subscription was expired. I am lost as to what to do next. Please help!!!!
Hi… Webroot client for a few years but new to the forum. Likely a stupid question, but here goes -- What kind of account do I have, and how do I access the details? I can’t remember if I bought coverage for our mobile devices (2 iPhones and an iPad) or if only our PC is protected. When I log onto my Webroot console, the page headings are on a BLACK background (unlike the graphics I’ve seen of sample console pages), and there is no menu heading for “Mobile Devices.” Also, do I have Webroot VPN access even if I have coverage only for my PC? I have successfully downloaded and opened the Webroot app for my iPhone (since I indeed had a key code for entry on the login page). But I can’t tell if this is included in a PC-only account or if it means I actually purchased coverage for our mobile devices. So far, everything I’ve found regarding my account is clear as mud. Finally, can anyone offer a critical evaluation of Webroot’s VPN? I’ve subscribed to the highly rated
