Hi everyone! Hope you’re well!! I haven’t been too well lately. M.S. though, not Covid! I noticed that Webroot had automatically installed another subscription of Internert Security Plus for close on $50. That was a few months ago and I’m still no closer to finding out why the app won’t launch or where the system tray button has disapeared to as I cannot sign in to mywebrootanywhere now as the page breaks and a message 'this page isn’t working. skyidentity.webrootcloudav.com is currently unable to handle this request https//error 500 is shown, (the address bar indicating it’s from skyidentity.webrootcloudav.com/signin-skyuber-oidc) is this you or am i being hacked??!!! I have contacted Customer Support but they’ve come back asking to download their log gathering utility then send info back before they can think of anything!! I’m now very nervous, do I have any protection??!!! Windows Security is saying that Webroot Secure Anywhere is turned on but I still can’t launch it or run a
A couple days ago, noticed that all of my login cookies for various websites where I had them set to “remember me” got wiped out. I’m running Firefox 81.0.2 (64-bit) on Win7 Pro. Up until a couple days ago, I could go months without having to log back in. Now, I’m seeing that they’re getting cleared every time I close the browser...maybe even when it’s still open. I’m running the same version of Firefox at work and don’t see this behavior, so it has to be Webroot. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks.
Webroot Filtering Extension in Firefox 81.0 (32-bit) was missing from the toolbar. Disabling this add-on and then re-enabling it restored function for that session, but it failed when starting a new Firefox session, every time. Webroot Uninstall/reinstall (without using saved settings) did not fix this, so the problem must lie with the extension. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to remove/reinstall this as it is “managed by Webroot”. I followed the Mozilla procedure for manually removing an add-on, because this add-on is managed by Webroot and cannot be removed from Firefox. The steps are as follows -Use the menu Help/Troubleshooting Information to bring up a page of information about Firefox Look for “Profile Folder” on the L side, then click on “Open Folder”. Open the sub-folder named “extensions”. Find “email@example.com” and delete it. I purchased the Webroot SecureAnywhere online 6 days ago, but did not receive a keycode. It may be possible that I entered my email address incorrectly when purchasing.Within a few minutes I opened a support ticket and submitted a request 3 times, but no response. I called the Webroot support numbers in the US and also 2 other countries, and spent at least 45 minutes on hold, but the calls are not answered. I have tried the “redownload / get keycode” option on the website several times, but this does not work.I have made a purchase, but I can not install the product as I did not receive the keycode.I would appreciate if someone could assist.
I just installed webroot on a brand new laptop and it’s not working (won’t open). I can’t uninstall it either. I contacted secureanywhere support and was told I have to purchase a support plan for $179/year. I don’t understand what the problem is exactly. It works fine on my old laptop, both are running Windows 10, and my account shows that it’s installed and apparently running, which it isn’t. Is the only fix really to purchase a support plan?
I bought a new keycode.I was able to install it on the first computer.When I try to install it on the second computer, all it does is take me as far as the window that asks if I want it to make changes to my computer. Of course, I press yes.But then it just stalls.I even tried the link that is suggested from Best Buy.I have already uninstalled the older, expired version that I was previously using.

Hello everyone,After automatically updated to 184.108.40.206, Windows Action Center indicates that Webroot SecureAnywhere is disabled.System: Window 7 64bit.Logged in as an Administrator.Symptoms:- icon disappears in Taskbar- looks like running. WRSA.exe *32 shown in Processes in Windows Task Manager- icon in Start Menu/ Programs inactive (click and no response)- wsainstall.exe inactive (click and no respnse)- uninstall failed (keep asking to log in as an administrator)Actions tried:- uninstall in Safe Mode (failed). Keep asking to log in as an Administrator- uninstall after Clean Boot (failed). Keep asking to log in as an Administrator- manually type "C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe" –uninstall in Start/ Run (failed). Keep asking to log in as an AdministratorLooks like something is blocking everything from Webroot from functioning. Updated in 9/1/2020. Problems started after the update.Please advise.
Hello, I have a Windows 10 PC and Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security.It stopped working a week ago after the last released update tried to install.Rebooting does not fix it. When trying to uninstall Webroot to try reinstalling fresh: It says I must be an administrator to access this feature (even though I am logged in as admin) and I am unable to uninstall it. I have tried opening a ticket with Webroot last week and still no response back.Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
I bought Secure Anywhere at Best Buy. I downloaded it, installed it and created an account. Everything seemed to work fine. When Webroot is started it reports that it needs to be activated. When activating I try to login. It tells me that the Login details are incorrect. I tried to reset the password but I received no reply through e-mail. I called Best Buy but they could not help though someone actually talked to me. I sat on the phone for over an hour waiting for Webroot to answer but no one picked up. I sent a message to the Webroot support group but have still not heard from them after two weeks. I tried to resend a message to the support group but it reported that I had already sent a note. This is extremely frustrating!!! Can someone please help me? I work in software support and this is not the way it is supposed to work! If this does not work I’m going to take it back to Best Buy.
Webroot Core is continually failing in the Reliability monitor (Security and Maintenance) in Control panel. Today I have 50 error messages from the time I booted up until now. They are all related to Webroot Core. And they all say the same thing.Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Core. Product Version: 1.1.226. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Webroot. Installation success or error status: 1603. I uninstalled and reinstalled. It is now worse. No changes to my computer.It started with WRSA.exe stopped working , now I see that occasionally but mostly the error above. What’s going on? Anyone have this?
Hi, I’ve run the VPN Private Internet Access for years. Last update failed. Can’t figure out why. I’m down to thinking Webroot is blocking the TAP installation. Is this possible? Is there a way to test Webroot to ignore certain folders or programs to i know Webroot is not what’s blocking the install. I tried disabling Webroot. According the PIA customer support, it could be Webroot has already marked PIA files as bad, so disabling Webroot now is too late. Any / all ideas welcome. Thanks. -S
Good morning ! My Webroot Web threat shield has suddenly dissapear after a FireFox update (76.0.1) I saw from the community, a post from an another user that got the same problem. Ok, great, I go to the KB that give information to reinstall the extension, clic the download link, allow of course...and I got the error message Is there an another way that I can download the extension ? I’m the licensee, I thought I was the administrator since I am the owner and the only user. How do I add my Intranet to Webroot? Thank you, Linda
I didn’t realize my Webroot Filtering Extension was off when I was browsing this morning and I clicked a link that looked promising, but then when I looked at the URL, I realized it might be sketchy. I clicked “BACK” immediately. I turned my WFE back on and looked at the link again the search engine, and sure enough there’s a big red “!” next to it. I tried to see if clicking the red “!” would give me more information and then it took me to the link again! Does this mean that the website is now whitelisted? Is there a way to BLOCK it now?
Hello, I purchased Internet Security Plus for 5 devices. Keycode was successfully activated but in order to turn on 'Lost Device Protection' I have to sign in using my Webroot account. I keep getting this Error message : 'There was a problem communicating with Webroot servers. Try again in a minute or two.' This has been going on for the last few hours now. It also does the same thing on my husband's phone, One Plus Pro, so on both Android phones. No issues with our laptops though. Your help is much appreciated.
