Hi, I got Webroot with my Samsung laptop at the Best Buy Black Friday bundle, and I just wiped out the computer, and I need to install an antivirus, just to find that I don't have my keycode. I don't know what to do. I DO know that I can download the software online, but I have lost the keycode. Sorry that I double posted, I forgot I didn't have Webroot Security PLUS.
Greetings, When I visit the Webroot Community, I sign in and am informed that " login information has been captured. Use Webroot to store it " I click on " save Passwords with Webroot " but it doesnt seem to stay put. Ive tried saving it each time I visit the community but to no avail, I have to enter it each time. Same holds true for signing in to my email... I attempt to save it but again, its not saving the information and I have to sign in each time I want to check my email. Under Firefox Extensions...it says " Webroot Filtering Extension could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled " Is this a possible problem and if so is there a fix4it ? Much obliged for the help, Robert

Hello, I am a new user to Webroot Secure Anywhere Essentials 2012 and so far I think its just fantastic :) However I think there is a bug or glitch that I have found and am hoping it will be fixed. After I right click on the Recycle Bin and run "Scan with webroot" it disappears from the right click menu. Even if the same files still remain in the Recycle Bin "Scan with webroot" is gone the very next time I right click on the Recycle Bin. However I also noticed when you add more files to the Recycle Bin the "Scan with webroot" returns to the right click menu. I also noticed when there are no files in the Recycle Bin there is still a "Scan with webroot" in the right click menu. Like for example if a restore a file from the Recycle Bin the "Scan with webroot" remians on the right click menu even though there are no more files in the Recycle Bin. Is this how the "Scan with webroot" is supposed to work? I would like
While searching on Firefox, I receiving the message that "Rating is temporarily unavailable and we are working to restore service". This has been happening for some time and appears not to be temporary. Any reasons why this is happening? Thanks
Good day ! I used the combo Adguard (pro) with Webroot IS from several years with no problem and happiness. Yesterday , I received the update on my Window PC Webroot agent to version 184.108.40.206, so far, so good And suddenly , all my browser (Edge,Chrome, Firefox) stop responding and won’t load any web page. After investigation, I remove Adguard Window PC agent and it resolve the problem , my browser breath again… I tried to exclude Adguard module in Webroot but it doesn’t work. is there a conflict between the new version of Webroot and Adguard ? I would love to keep both program on my PC Note : I’ve got the same problem with my wife PC Thanks and have a nice day
Hello, I have tried today to install a new Zip / Archive software, replacing my old Win Rar. Both (official) Winzip and WinRar have been blocked by WSA during install, for a specific malware element. So I installed none. Oh, yeah, WSA turned red, quarantined the element (downloaded from developper site), and worked quite well and fast at it. But I'm still without Zip program ;) What Zip / Archive soft is considered by WSA as valid and safe ... (without having to edit the Zip prog in regedit) ?? Thanks for your advices !
I have the password management feature that works for Fire Fox but I want to switch browsers to internet explorer. How can I get the icon installed up in the right hand corner of internet explorer to access all of the sites in my password manager? Thanks for your help. CMC
This is an open discussion and something for Mike Potts, David Bennett, Hal Lonas, Chad Bacher, John Post, Melanie Williams, Ryan Howe and Gary Hayslip to ponder on. Here in your own words are the " OUR VALUES " which you claim to stand for. Integrity--Customer Success--Excellence-- Innovation-- " Webroot is passionate about protecting businesses and consumers from Cyber threats. We are the smartest and best at combating today's most complex cyber security challenges and are constantly anticipating how to extend the value of our threat identification, prediction, and remediation to the connected World ". Now ; in regards to Password Manager, how would all of you honestly rate your performance when comparred to your " Stated Values " and your " About Webroot " declaration ?
Finally installed WSA IS literally 5 minutes ago. I've been using Avast Free. The first thing I noticed is that opening a browser is probably twice as fast with WSA installed vs. Avast Free. It was amazingly fast. Is there a tutorial or a webpage for recommendations for "getting to know WSA"? Links or suggested sections within the forums? Lastly, since I use Sandboxie to sandbox any and all browsers at all times, should I disable the webshield protection? I look forward to getting to know some of you and learning all I can about WSA.
I have downloaded the latest version of Newsbin Usenet program and it is somehow being blocked by Webroot firewall. When I disable Webroot firewall the program works just fine. When activate the firewall the program starts but cannot access the internet which basically renders it useless. I have checked what I THINK are all the relevant areas in the firewall and enabled the program but it still won't start with Webroot firewall active. Are there any suggestions? This is making my crazy. Thanks.
I keep getting the above message several times, every hour, the the Notification area on Windows 10. Webroot and Windows Firewall are both turned on and Defender is turned off, yet still the messages keep arrivung. I restarted Windows Management Instrumention (which did clear this fault a few weeks ago) but that made no difference. Any ideas please?
I was wondering if anyone could offer a solution to this because I quite like the software otherwise. Since switching to Webroot ISP yesterday, I've started to experience a strange problem with the screen going blank (completely black i.e. monitor off) and then coming back on. It only lasts for about a second and does not affect any other processes while it is happening. Once today it went blank without coming back on again and the monitor went into standby mode which would suggest it is cutting the signal to it completely. It only seems to happen when the program is actively doing something, for example when I open up a new web page. It will also black out the screen without fail just after starting up as the pop-up box at the bottom right is fading. I am running Windows XP Pro 2002 SP3. Any suggestions?
I can sign into mywebrootanywhere.com and can access my account but cannot sign in to password manager using the same email and password. A red bar appears saying unknown email address try again. No typo, I tried it about ten times.
Where do you guys get off listing my Website as linking to malicious content or payloads? There is nothing on my site (dandude.com) that will Hack,,hijack or in any way hurt your computer and there are no links to any harmful or illegal sofware! This is the thanks I get for buying your softwsre? You maybe should change the name of your program to Webroot Slander Everywhere. You may not like the content but don't lie about me.
