I can sign into mywebrootanywhere.com and can access my account but cannot sign in to password manager using the same email and password. A red bar appears saying unknown email address try again. No typo, I tried it about ten times.
To Whom It May Concern: First of all, I do want to commend Webroot for creating a fascinating Internet security suite. I've used Norton, McAfee, AVG, and Kaspersky products, and I find that Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus keeps my computer protected from many threats. With that being said, I am not a big fan of notifications popping up while I'm using my computer unless the notification requires me to take action for something. Lately, I've been getting notifications from Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus with the following text: See your new Personal Security Report View threats stats and information about your scans, shields, and security features Unfortunately, I have not found a way to disable the Webroot SecureAnywhere Personal Security Report notification from appearing. If there is a setting that disables it, I am overlooking it. If anyone knows how to disable this notificat
Hi everyone! Since carrying out a Chrome update last night I am finding it hard to get access to a few sites; I get a message that says:- The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator. Your support ID is ...... Anyone know whats happening and how I can put it right? The update has also played havoc with the general settings. :@ Loopy Linda
I have come across so many blogs, opinions, and so called solutions to WRData folder expansion problem. I started a search hoping to find a solution I could live with. The Problem/My issues? I have both limited space and ample space on my local Dell Windows 10 desktop PC. I have a 128 GB SSD drive which is essentially my main drive (that's the one with the limited space problem and it's my "C" drive.) I also have a couple of Internal SATA hard drives spinning at 7200RPMs which has a combined storage capacity of 8TBs! I though, geez wouldn't it be great if I could put my WRData folder on one of my SATA drives and make WSA play nice with this change. Then I would not care about the WRData problem. It could just blow up like a hot air balloon and I would not mind, but that is only if I could successfuly move my WRData folder and have it work succesfully with the WSA program with WRData on another drive. But please, not on my SSD drive “C” drive. It's only 128 GB SSD. By default the
From what I've read online, it doesn't seem like anyone puts much weight behind Webroot's system analyzer results, but then again, everyone was having issues with IE and Windows 8.1...neither of which are on my computer. The reason I ask is because I've been having major network performance and connectivity issues and the extent of my tech knowledge is that if unplugging or resetting it doesn't work, you have a problem. We do have 6-8 devices on this network at any given time, so I know we're to blame for some of the slowness, but we've had this setup for a year now and never noticed any lag for what we used the internet for. We haven't added anything else to our network and taking off the things we weren't using didn't help anything. It started several weeks ago where my computer would just suddenly slow way down like I had a ton of windows open and it would get progressively slower until the connection just dropped off completely. It has become a sort of
Hi, I was recommended by some of my colleagues to check out some of the software made by NoVirusThanks to provide additional protection. It seems like people do like it as it is effective. I'm especially interested in Syshardener as it's easy to configure and use, the question I have is, will this software & Webroot cooperate with each other fine? I don't want them to interfere and cause issues. Thanks :) https://www.novirusthanks.org/products/syshardener/
My Password Manager no longer maintains a connection to the server. Sites are not saved, and I can't always log on to sites, because passwords cannot be retrieved. This is in Chrome and IE. Password manager does not work at all in Firefox, and is not only disabled, but removed from view altogether, and cannot be re-installed. So, I've gone from Password manager not working in Firefox, to Password manager not functioning correctly in any browser.
Hi, I just received a notice from Password Manager that my WSA account password and Master Password are identical and that this is a security risk. However the Master Password reset link in the web toolbar redirects back to the WSA console. So I am now confused are two different passwords required or is it ok to set them identical. Thanks, Cooltone.
Hi All After password manager extension stopped working on firefox, I switched to chrome. Which was working fine for past few weeks, Since this morning i am unable to login to my password manager, I am getting error msg "Unknown email" when i login to my webroot console there is no 'Password' tab from where i can retreive my passwords. Hello, I just noticed that my disk usage was at 100% right after installing webroot, I troubleshooted for a while not suspecting webroot, but when i ran out of options I disabled webroot and my disk usage instantly dropped from 100% to 5%. I would really like to use this product, but this issue I'm having is making that impossible. I would appreciate any advice and I apologize if this is in the incorrect section. Thank you!
Hello, I have WRSA Internet Security running on a Windows 10 computer. This morning when I booted the computer, WRSA was running but all protection was off. I turned protection on then checked the Identity Protection tab and discovered everything there off as well and all of the files that had been in the Application Protection tab had disappeared. I had run a scan but WRSA had detected nothing. Not sure what's going on here. Thanks for any help. Edit: also noticed that now in the protected list Firefox is listed as presentationframework.ni.dll while chrome is listed as chrome.
The green check marks next to results in Google search has stopped working in Chrome. They show up fine in Bing search using Chrome. They work fine in Firefox. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the extension from the Chrome store. Any suggestion on getting them back in Google search? Thank you. Lisa
Yes, this is another thread, but I think its absolutely insane that an internet security company can have functionality down this long with no real update other than "it doesnt work" Its immensely inconvenient that I have no access to the passwords from the service i pay for online security, and every time ive called every tech says something to the effect of "oh we have no update, were not sure whats going on". Oh except for the one who scolded me for not backing up all my passwords to a secondary location, other than the password manager... that was nice as well. the radio silence on this issue, and the lack of communication from Webroot is concerning to say the least. If anyone has more information other than "who knows, maybe some day in the eventual future itll be fixed" thatd be awesome because its a real pain in the ass not having it right now. thanks
Hello All, New member/user here. I just purchased and installed the Webroot Internet Security Plus Software on my laptop today. I had been previously using Kaspersky Protection Software. One thing I liked about the Kaspersky program was that they had what was called 'Safe Money' This was used as an extra layer of protection for any type of web site that used banking, shopping, ebay, paypal and others. I am curious to know if something like that exist within the Webroot Software or do I need to do something additional? I don't want to start checking my bank accounts or using any of my credit cards online until I know I am safe and secure. Thanks!
My question is, is Webroot Internet security plus good for a very expensive notebook or is Webroot more for business customers. Can someone tell me how many users Webroot use? Unfortunately I see webroot in some tests "last" and it is NOT recommended. What do you think ??? Thank you
As I mention in the subject line, I appear to be having issues with my webroot scanning setup. It was working fine a few days ago after being fixed for issues where it wasn't doing the scan at all. Now it's having an issue where if I scan a single file ahead of the daily scan, it is resetting itself to start it's next scan in 24 hours instead of just doing it's normal daily scan. The WRData folders and files in the program data section has also taken a massive leap from 110 mb total size (with the size on disk listed as 108 mb.) to 894 total space with 819 mb size on disk. Windows did recently do an update, so maybe that cause the issue? I tried to call customer service, but they're apparently flat out closed on Sundays. If I could, I'd post images for this. Can anyone help? Edit: Ok, so things got worse. The countdown did set back to normal, for whatever reason, but then when it did the countdown, it didn't do the scan and once again just set to scan tomorrow. This is an issue
