Blocked internet access
One of my new laptops (Win10) has been previously able to access the internet but is now either blocking access or is being prohibited from it. I started to download a WinZip file on Sunday and Webroot identified it as a threat and cleaned it. "winzip20-new.exe" is currently on the block list. I have not been able to access the internet with that computer since. I have run the Webroot deep scan several times but no threats are found. The computer is recognizing the Wi-Fi but is saying "No internet access." I use MAC address protection on my router and have deleted and re-entered the MAC address for the laptop. No luck. Any thoughts?
Encryption Rollback ? how it works?
Hi to all of Webrooters :) i seen recently this PcMag review ( http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2470312,00.asp ) and part of that review is : This program was the ultimate unknown—never seen by anyone before until I compiled it. Webroot naturally started monitoring its behavior. I verified that the files had indeed been encrypted. Then I used Webroot's process list to manually block the program. Webroot terminated it immediately, and a scan restored the encrypted files. What fun! ------------------------------ Wow ! really Webroot is perfect ! Webroot is Security ! :D but i dont underestand exactly how Webroot restore encrypted files? for example i am going to be infected with a Ransomware or Cryptolocker.. ok ? so what happen? what should i do for that rollback? is that Automatic? or should i do something ?:D Best Regards, Parham

error code when registering on a reset phone
Hello, I clean my phone often, factory resets and such and I have recently received a code reading that I have eceeeded the number if attempts or consoles? I did not know I could do such a thing with webroot. I have read some of the forums and it seems that I can ask you guys to clear these old consoles, is that correct? If so, I'd like to do that as soon as possible so I can use your product once again. Thanks for the time.. Anthony
