Hello Patti, welcome to the Community!

While you do not need to uninstall the McAfee, I strongly reccomend it.  Webroot is designed to be compatible with other AV's, so while it will not be a problem to leave the McAfee on (The computer will not run any worse) why would you want to leave it on the computer if it is expired?  Also, in my own opinion, McAfee tends to slow computers down more than most other AV solutions.  Your computer may very well thank you by running faster if the McAfee is removed.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Well if you look at this PassMark Benchmark Test I would remove McAfee it so heavy on system resources: http://www.webroot.com/shared/pdf/PassMark2014AVPerformanceBenchmarkReport-Webroot.pdf

Thanks,

Daniel 😉

Definitely. Why bother with anything else when you are getting the best - WSA. It'll take care of all the threats and malware. No need for any other AVs. Just sit back, relax and let WSA take care of all the malware troubles while you use your computer and device for your work.:)
