my browser is blocked by a fake scam
web root wont detect the scam or virus and i cant get the browser to to do anything

There are a couple ways we might be able to deal with this, but let's start with what should be the easiest. With some luck, this will fix it.
Make sure you backup your bookmarks/favorites please, just in case.
Go into your browser settings, and reset the browser to all defaults.
Close the browser, reboot the computer and open the browser again. Lets see if this works to unlbock the browser. If so, re-import your bookmarks and we are done.
If this does NOT fix the problem, please let us know and we will go from there.
