Hi dwjones195459

Werlcome to the Community Forums...:D

I am not a Mac expert by any stretch of the imagination 😉 but would you be able to clarify as to what you mean by 'remove'?  As far as I know there is an uninstaller that comes as part of the Mac version and you just need to run it (but may be wrong there as I am a PC jockey).

I regularly uninstall/re-install the PC version of WSA and have never had the need to do anything other than that and ceertainly not run a removal tool.

May I also ask what is leading you to think that you need a removal tool...if that is what you are effectively looking for?

Regards

DWJones - To remove Webroot, all you need to do is drag and drop the Webroot file to the trashcan. This will take you through the uninstall process.

If you have tried this, and it is not working, would you please post up what exactly is occurring? Any additional feedback you can provide would be great.
I downloaded the free 2015 webroot a couple of weeks ago. Now it just pops up randomly every few minutes so I tried to delete it from my mac and I am unable to. When I try to delete via the trash, it never transfers.

Are you wanting to uninstall Webroot?

Please try this below.

To uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere,
 1. Shut down SecureAnywhere by clicking the Webroot icon  in the menu bar and selecting Shut Down SecureAnywhere. 2. Open the Finder by clicking the Finder icon in the dock.
 3. Open the Applications directory.
 4. Click and drag the Webroot SecureAnywhere program icon into the Trash  in the dock. A confirming window appears.  Click Uninstall. Another option is to uninstall in Safe Mode
Then follow the instructions  above to remove Webroot in Safe Mode.
