Shockwave Flash

Greetings to all those wiser than myself. I checked Firefox for any updates and it appeared that 'Shockwave Flash " should be updated as of yesterday. I tried to update it but was immediately warned by Webroot that it was not safe. I decided against the update. I recall at an earlier time, that Webroot claimed it unsafe so I guess thats still the case.

I'm not a gamer nor do I watch a lot of videos...so it seems I have no need for the update.....or do I need it for something else affiliated to my internet use?

As allways, your advise is appreciated.
