unable to remove the Webroot Filtering Extension

In Internet Explorer -> Add - ons the option to remove is disabled. Webroot AV is no longer on the machine and hasn't been for some time. A colleague mentioned running these removal commands but I am not sure it will work:
wrsa.exe -uninstall
"C:Program FilesWebrootWRSA.exe" -uninstall
"C:Program Files (x86)WebrootWRSA.exe" -uninstall

How can I get rid of this ENABLED and unremovable Add-in?

Hello greatdivideit, Welcome to the Webroot Community Forum. :D

You can download the "Toolbar Fix" from here.  Once downloaded launch it by clicking on the executable, and you should see the following, if then that is fine and you should click on 'Run':

which should then take you to the following dialog:

on which you should choose/check the option 'Repair/Install the Webroot Toolbar' and then press 'Start'.

If that doesn't fix the issue, Please submit a Support Ticket or Contact Webroot Support to sort this problem. This service is FREE with a Paid Subscription.
Support Ticket System is Open 24/7

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.
