Hello,

I just installed webroot and tried to scan my Mac, but the message coming up is "That webroot could not scan because it could not reach the internet." Is there anyone that has an answer for this? Thanks so much.

Hi kindconnie

In the circumstances I would uninstall and then reinstall WSA to make sure that the issue is not due to a faulty installation. To do that follow the instructions below (kindly provded by our Mac Expert @).

 1. Shut down SecureAnywhere by clicking the Webroot icon  in the menu bar and selecting Shut Down SecureAnywhere. in the dock.
 2. Open the Applications Webroot SecureAnywhere is now uninstalled.  There is no need to restart your computer. Please let us know if you still have problems because we can go into safe mode if necesssary.
Then to reinstall follow the instructions below (again kindly provded by our Mac Expert @):

 1. Click hereto download the SecureAnywhere installer to your Mac. Or Click here if you have the Best Buy Geek Squad Subscription service.
 2. Double-clickdmg to open the installer.
 3. Drag theWebroot SecureAnywhere icon into the Applications folder.
In the first activation window, enter your keycode and click Activate.

Now check as to whether the intenrt connection works as per usual. Either way please post back to let us know how you have got on.

Regards, Baldrick
