Hi, I am a new Webroot user and installed it on my iMac running OSX 10.10.5.  It seems to have been running fine for about 5 weeks but I just received a pop up from OSX saying this:

WSDaemon would like to take control of this computer using accessibility features

When I open my security preferences it shows that WSDaemon is listed in the privacy section.

What is this and am I really supposed to allow it?

Thanks

Hello JBiggs,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Please have a look here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daemon_%28computing%29

A daemon is a long-running background process that answers requests for services. The term originated with Unix, but most operating systems use daemons in some form or another.

I have this in my Security Preferences on my Mac with no issues.
