Ever since I got your garbage VPN, I cannot download anything (your App is restricting my bandwidth even after I uninstalled it )nor can I stream anything (because of the restricted bandwidth). How do I fix this and get rid of your garbage off my system (both Win10 and Android phone- same issues after webroot install) once and for all???????
Hi - I am having problems with the wifi security program, and as I can read from the former posts, my problems have been adressed before. This is dissapointing news to me. Wifi Security is version 1.0.5 (1) and I am on a Mac Mini with HighSierra. My first issue is, that though I have checked the run on start up box, nothing happens when I power up the computer. I have to manually find the program and click on it. Then i have to wait for 1 minute to be logged in - only to be shown the subscription terms screen and then, again, have to click agree. The connection to automatic location takes about 5 seconds and is very very good. But then I have to disconnect and connect again every 3 hours. I simply loose all internet connection after 3 hours online. That is simply not acceptable. I guess I couldn't find any of theese problems listed when I visited your website to buy the program, and I have to ask wether you can solve theese issues, or if you have a money back guar

WIN 10 Home, Webroot SecureAnywhere, Webroot WiFi Security (IKEv2 selected), Malwarebytes. When I first connect to WiFi Security, access via Edge is delayed and has been since I installed a year ago. Access via IE11, GC, and FF is immediate. Coincidently, cursor over the network tray icon shows only the router connection while Edge is inop but shows both WiFi Security connection and router connection when Edge finally can connect. I am not a Edge default user, but some sites are not stable in IE11 anymore so I have to cut/paste into FF if Edge is still waiting for access under WiFi Security. Any thoughts on why this is occurring?
Just began using Webroot Wifi Secrurity in U. S . A. and one time so far lost connection and the program tried to reconnect over and over and it would not connect. I shut it off. Several minutes later, I re-established connection and everything was fine. I don't know if this will continue. On one of my games, I couldn’t connect to Facebook until I disconnected the vpn and used my home wifi, is this normal? Best regards, Gerard
I too am now having ‘VPN not connecting’ error. Running 188.8.131.52. I uninstalled/reinstalled/rebooted. No change, Message is “connection failure” on the pink band at top of the “Connect” green screen. Using ‘Automatic Location’. OS is Windows 10. Haven’t tried the Android version lately. Ideas?
Hi, Just renewed my Webroot subscription for Mac and added WiFi Security. Followed download instructions and after opening WiFi Security in the applications folder. Got through the first two steps and then installation quit. Downloaded it again and tried a second time. Same result. Please advise. Thanks, Chris
Even since I installed this app on my Android phone (Samsung S8) probably close to a year ago, it is completely unstable and unpredictable. Sometimes it connects fine and other times it tells me my password is wrong when I haven’t changed it from time when it did connect. Even when I can login it refuses to connect to a VPN server. Yet sometimes this works just fine. Sometimes I can connect via my wifi connections, other times I can’t. Sometimes I can connect via my cellular provider network and sometimes I can’t. Seems I’m not the only one with this problem. Yes I’ve force stopped the application, I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app multiple times and it never seems to clear up these issues. Seems I’m not the only one with these problems. I opened a support ticket shortly after first installing this product and still it continues to have issues. Why can't your developers seems to fix these problems? It's not worth the money I spent and probably won’t renew my subscription.
I have and ASUS router and I have the option to load a VPN service so all my devices would be protected. I purchased the Webroot VPN assuming I could utilize the VPN configuration on my router. Is there an option within Webroot to do this? If not I would need to cancel with Webroot and utilize another VPN service. I hate to leave as I also have the Webroot antivirus suite as well. Please advise Thanks.
--How do I tell if Webroot VPN service is working on my PC? On my cell phone, I can see a small key icon in the upper right corner. There is no icon on any of my browser bars (Vivaldi, Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera) to indicate that VPN is active. --How can I change my country of origin? --Does the service work with the Vivaldi browser? How can I tell? PS. I prefer Vivaldi as a browser. Great for people doing research. --Is my smart TV a weak point in my security network? e.g., when I am streaming through a ROKU set box. I already have Webroot Internet Secure Anywhere with 5 licenses. I purchased WiFi Security about a month and half ago and verified my account. I cant seem to find a way to add and remove devices for my WiFi Security subscription (for 3 devices). Where do I do that? How do I do that? The internet security WIFI Console doesn't give me a screen where I can do that.
I have always been able to print to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus via WiFi from my desktop (Dell XPS 8700 Intel i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 16.0 GB RAM, Windows 10 version 1903 64-bit op system), laptop (HP Pavilion Intel i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 12.0 GB RAM, Windows 10 version 1809 64-bit op system, and smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S8+). However, when I turned on Webroot WiFi Security on all 3, none of them would print. When I disconnected them, they all printed. I do have my Trusted WifI Network selected for all 3. Turning off the Kill Switch had no effect. In order to print, I must disconnect Webroot WiFi Security. I have two netfilter.access.logs and one service.log available to email to you if you need them.
My WiFi Security will not connect when prompted. I have logged out and logged in with no change. Have also restarted my laptop no change in status. Help me with this problem, please. Oliver Nusser ~snip Removed email address, please don’t post your email address in public snip~
