I have tried repeatedly to get customer service to respond to my inquiries to no avail. I am very dissatisfied with the Webroot WIFI Security product for two reasons: The product will not automatically load when my PC is started up each day. This has to be done manually and until it is done, the product restricts internet connectivity. When running, the product restricts my ability to use my printer which is connected via my home WIFI. It appears that the product disables the home WIFI when loaded. These issues are deal breakers for me in retaining the product for use after my initial subscription ends. Are there any solutions?
I have MS system 10 because MS 11 is a storage hog. I am a happy camper though.Which is the fasted port to aim for with Webroot VPN. I am in Canada and use it all the time (I’m happy with it). While living in the Middle East I used Houston, TX as my VPN port. Can the VPN be hacked?Dr. Gary...Gary
Hi All,Curious if Webroot VPN is going away now that SaferVPN is being decommissioned as of Dec 15th, 2023. If readers didn’t know, Webroot VPN is technically NOT an in house product, but rather a reskinned/rebranded version of SaferVPN, but added some of their BrightCloud tech to it. I received a notice today that SaferVPN is recommending IPVanish and the website is saying they’ve joined with IPVanish. So does this mean, the Webroot VPN will be changing their product to update it’s look and feel of IPVanish? CuriousRegardsJohn H

I have an annoying WebRoot WiFi Security VPN stability problem – it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. This VPN disconnect-reconnect issue started about July 2023 and has reoccurred multiple times since. It appears to be laptop-only because all my other devices, programs, apps, and functions seem to work fine. I have Webroot's WiFi VPN running on 3 devices - Dell desktop, iPhone 7, and Dell Laptop. It is stable on the iPhone and the desktop, but not on the Dell laptop. My laptop’s OS is Windows 10 and am using FIOS to access the internet. I’ve run Webroot's SecurityAnywhere on the laptop multiple times but no problem was identified. I ran the troubleshooter on the Verizon FIOS router and didn't identify any problems. I’ve even changed browsers, but no joy.I’ve opened several trouble tickets … the WebRoot support team recommended changing VPN protocols, changing VPN servers, and reinstalling the WiFi Security software. I’ve done all these multiple times without success. In eac

I am at my wits end with the WebRoot WiFi product. Whenever my laptop goes to sleep or I close the lid (which also places the laptop into sleep mode), WebRoot WiFi attempts to reconnect, but cannot. To reconnect, I must sign out of Webroot and then enter my user name and password. To add insult to injury, Webroot will not remember my password, so I must pull up my spreadsheet of passwords and cut and past the Webroot password into the log on field. While WebRoot’s virus protection program is very good, the WiFi/VPN product is junk.
