how do i check my threats?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
If you want to check for threats then you should click on 'Scan My Computer' in the main panel of the application. That will either return a clean result, i.e., no threats, or WSA will shiftninto threat mode at which time it will notify you of any threats found and what you should do about them.
If you want to look back at what threats have been identified as pertaining tomyour system you can look at the Threat Log, which keeps track of all such detected threats. To access this click on Utilities, then Reports, and then Save Threat Log, which will ask you to provide a name for the text file to be saved, and a location to save it to. Once saved you can review the contents as and when you wish.
