Coincidentally some consumers are receiving seemingly genuine warnings from their ISPs related to suspected infection during last week's worldwide ransomware outbreak.
 
Action Fraud warned about a dodgy email trying to trick BT customers on Thursday.

Have to say that this does look very 'real' and plausible...EXCEPT for the "Confirm Security UPgrade" link included. That should be a red  flag to any sensible person receiving this sort of phish.
