http://cdn.patch.com/users/26955/2015/03/T800x600/20150354fa06aed77de.pngAn email phishing scam is using the E-Z Pass logo and targeting people with false claims they owe money for missed tolls. The Illinois Tollway is advising I-PASS customers to disregard emails being sent from “E-ZPass Support.”
I-PASS customers should delete any email titled “Indebted for driving on toll road” or “Payment for driving on toll road” that arrives on an E-ZPass letterhead, the tollway authority warns.
