Yeah, but I think that it should be farther down the list. In my experiences on multiple installs, it greatly slowed down the systems.@ wrote:

I think while they do slow systems down, the Kaspersky software does not have as great an impact on system performance as many of the others. But it does depend on what version - KIS2013 has been noted to cause 100% cpu load after install, BUT there are ways to configure it to stop that bug from occurring.
