My scan is stuck on "Scanning for Rootkits" How Do I Fix This?

Welcome to the Community Fora.
Sounds like you may well have a dicky install of WSA. What usually resolves this and is the first thing to try is an uninstall, REBOOT, clean reinstall, making sure that you do not accept any offer to import previous settings, etc., REBOOT and then run the scan again, and hopefully it should complete.
I would advise that you download a new verison of the installer (for Webroot from here or for Best Buy from here) and make sure that you have your keycode details handy as you will need then during the install process.
Please give this a try and let us know how you get on. If it does not solve the issue for you then we will look at other options.
