More genreally, is Webroot compatible with other antivirus programs operating on the same computer? Specificaly, I have AVG 2015 also installed. Is there a disadvantage to this?

The choice is yours. Webroot SecureAnywhere can either replace or work alongside your
existing antivirus software.
