BitTorrent launches its P2P-powered torrent based browser “Project Maelstrom” in a public Beta

BitTorrent the company popularly known in the torrent world as the protocol to share the files over p2p connections today announced the launch of its torrent based browser “Project Maelstrom” going public in Beta.

Back in December 2014 the “Project Maelstrom” was opened by the company in an invite-only alpha stage with an aim to help build the distributed web.
In its opening post about the browser, the company said “Project Maelstrom” has the potential to help address some of the most vexing problems facing the Internet today.
