Removing devices from security display and protected count.

I show several more computers than I have currently running, on the ‘Security’/protected display. I want them gone, not just hidden. These have either been deactivated or parted out. How can I accomplish that from Webroot Secure Anywhere??

MacOS Ventura Beta 7 Available for Testing

Apple has released macOS Ventura beta 7 to users enrolled in the beta testing programs for MacOS system software. Hosts File Not Working on Mac? Try This Fix

Some Mac users have discovered that the hosts file in MacOS does not appear to work, or changes to the /etc/hosts file on the Mac are seemingly ignored. Given that the hosts file is used to map IP addresses to host names, and is frequently modified by advanced users, this is an understandably annoying problem.This is fairly obvious issue when it happens, because after editing the hosts file on a Mac from the command line or even with TextEdit, and flushing DNS cache, there does not appear to be any change to hosts.Changes to the hosts file being ignored, or edits to the hosts file not working, are actually a fairly common occurrence, particularly with modern versions of MacOS system software. Apple updates its AppleCare+ support service to offer unlimited repairs

The subscription service formerly only let you pay for two repairs per year.SCHARON HARDING - 9/8/2022 Apple will no longer limit how frequently AppleCare+ owners can pay Apple for supported product repairs. As spotted by MacRumors yesterday, the company updated the AppleCare+ subscription support service to offer "unlimited" repairs across its current product line. That's much more flexible than the two repairs per year previously offered, as per the Wayback Machine.According to the fine print, this only covers "physical damage from handling due to unexpected and unintentional events." And there are associated service fees. Fixing broken glass on an iPhone, for example, will cost you $29 in addition to your monthly subscription fee.
