Verizon to put some limits on unlimited data

If you've managed to stay on an unlimited data plan on Verizon, you might soon notice that your speeds beginning to slow down if your using a lot of data . A limited set of customers will fall under the umbrella of Verizon's so-called "Network Optimization" policy, which Verizon says is not throttling.

This optimization plan does not sit right with me.........if one has a unlimited data plan than Verizon should honor it not trying to get around it with a Network Optimization poliicy......I smell greed coming from Verion

Well, they will still get unlimited data, itheir speed will be slower after they reach a designated amount of usage for the month.
 
Most wireless providers offer several options for unlimited data. The more you are willing to pay, the more data you get at max speed.
 
In general, as I have been told by the providers, the higher the traffic, the slower the speed.
 
Its not like it was in the 90's when there were only 2 bands, many choices now. You may need to get another phone, but the options are there.
