Social Engineering is the editorial topic for this months release. Consisting of 31 different updates, this release empowers customers with content to use in their Autopilot and custom campaigns. Featuring a wide range of brands including Equifax, apple, google, and white label corporate templates, we are introducing Italian language course content in this release as well. Nine Italian courses are being released in evergreen security topics from Skillsoft. This language content is in addition to course and simulation content updates in existing languages across French, German and Spanish.
The frequency, variety and quality of these continuing content updates set WSAT apart from similar size competitors.

The DNS Core is the server component of DNS Protection and is responsible for fielding and filtering all DNS requests for DNS Protection.

Customer use cases
- DNS Forwarder Validation Fix: When a customer adds the Webroot DNS resolvers as forwarders to a Windows 2016 or newer DNS server, they will now validate correctly based on Microsoft’s new DNS forwarder criteria.
- Domain category defaults to Uncategorized: In the rare instance where the DNS Protection Core is unable to look up a category for a domain (i.e. if BrightCloud is down), the Core server would previously and incorrectly default the domain to Uncategorized, resulting in reporting anomalies and DNS resolution issues.

The release contains several items requested by customers, along with the final piece of functionality we need to introduce before consolidating the Endpoint Protection Console.
- Rolling Console Session – We have introduced a new 30-minute rolling session within the console. Admins will be prompted to keep the session alive or log out, 2 mins before expiry.
- Entities Export – A long requested feature from customers. A user can now export all device information for local manipulation.
- Site Only Admin Management for Single Site Admins – Required work to allow us to consolidate the EP console.
- Endpoint Protection deployment template – We’ve added a useful feature to the deployment details, a user can now directly copy the instructions or have them created within an email ready to send to a user.
- DNS form entry protection – We’ve hardened the input validation to ensure that if a user missed submitting an entry, we’ll warn them before they leave the page.
- Several other improvements along with a number of bug fixes, more details of which can be viewed from the release landing page.
We are pleased to announce the following enhancements to Email Threat Protection:
- Improved timeliness for delivery of Quarantined Message Reports (QMRs)
- New logging/alerting if/when QMRs aren’t delivered within 30 minutes of scheduled time
- New user-configurable option that when using recurring reports, only depicts messages quarantined since their prior report
Customer Benefits:
- Improved “predictability’ that QMRs will be received in a timely manner
- New option streamlines recurring QMRs, depicting only “recent” messages. This avoids the prior “cumulative” nature and improves usability of the report.
