The Community Team and I are really excited about the changes we made last week and to announce some exciting updates that we'll be making to the Webroot Community.
We have been working on ways to improve our VIP program, ranks, and badges. Over the next few weeks, you'll see these changes first hand.
VIP Program and Ranks
The new VIP program launched this morning. Some of our older community members might see changes in a couple of areas. Most notably with the addition of a new rank, Popular Voice, as well as lowering the threshold for Community Guide. We'll also be combining levels so that we no longer have Sr. Levels, as we've only seen a handful of community members in these levels over the years. Badges
We already have an extensive badge collection but it's about time we went ahead and updated some brand new badges! These will be going live over the next few days so be on the lookout. We are also looking at adding a 'Badge' label to our existing Feature Request area so that you're able to submit your own badge ideas to the team.
We are so excited to be making these changes for you but we aren't done yet. The team and I are committed to making this the best online community we can and with your help and engagement, we feel that we're getting closer every day.
