my wife's mac hijacked by a iwedios.com stating it's apple.com, and call this # immediately to resolve a virus.   the errror message is rundll32.exe  which i believe is a windows command--not a command on mac--but I could be wrong.

any thoughts?

As noted by MrFloppy, it is a scam.  It sounds like it is simply a web site designed to fool people into calling the number, and most likely not actually malicious in itself.

Chances are your computer is quite clean, but if you have any doubt or concern, just submit a Trouble Ticket and let Webroot Support take a look just to be sure.  Support is always free for registered WSA users!

Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

? if I may add something here as well?

I own a Mac and you are correct in saying this rundll32.exe is indeed a Windows error.

So as ?  states please do issue that support ticket.
