my wife's mac hijacked by a iwedios.com stating it's apple.com, and call this # immediately to resolve a virus. the errror message is rundll32.exe which i believe is a windows command--not a command on mac--but I could be wrong.
any thoughts?

you said they gave you a phone number ?its a scam no company calls you on the phone .
As noted by MrFloppy, it is a scam. It sounds like it is simply a web site designed to fool people into calling the number, and most likely not actually malicious in itself.
