Welcome to the Webroot Community,
SafeSear.ch is a browser hijacker, which is promoted via other free downloads, and once installed it will change your browser homepage and default search engine to http://safesear.ch/.
This in itself is not considered malicious as there are many legitimate programs that change these settings as well. What is considered malicious, though, is that it will also append the argument http://safesear.ch/ to random Windows shortcuts on your desktop and your Windows Start Menu.
This can be very difficult to remove manually therefore I'd advise you to submit a Support Ticket and they will look at this for you free of charge with an active subscription.
