First:

How we have Webroot. We had a service provide Optimum Networking install it.

They have the console to monitor virus protection.

Ask them to remove they said 5 did not unistall but our tracking systemDesktop central has over 80 installed and the different versions.

It also tells me the root directory installed and all but one is in the program files (x86)

Using “C:\Program Files (x86)\Webroot\WRSA.exe" –uninstall

I have attempted Three pc’s so far and no successes and all acted this same way.

Have no physical access to the pc as we are all at home but can remote with admin rights. Tried even with a admin cmd line console.  Very difficult to enter safe mode. Our remote access tool does not work in safe mode.

What happens with remoting in and running the cammand, it does run, and goes to an enter a capticia , complete it, and then nothing.  Turn off no other screens. Webroot does not disappear and even after a reboot.

Hello @Superal1234

It’s always

"C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe" -uninstall without the (x86)

See more here: https://community.webroot.com/submit-a-business-feature-request-30/uninstalling-webroot-336596#post345664

Note: If it still doesn’t uninstall you can try in Safe Mode with Networking! https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Thanks,

Awesome!

Using latest Windows 10, Uninstalling from Control Panel and using  "C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe -uninstall” does not work.  Error message say I have to log in as Administrator.  I am shown as the Administrator on my system with no other users.  My WSA shows to be running in Task Manager but will not open.  WSAinstall.exe also will not work.  I can’t uninstall.  I can’t reinstall.  What else can I do?

Hello @wDarellM

Sorry you are having issues as many are seeing the same and only support can help you so please have some patience as they are busy with this issue! Webroot Customer Service

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue, it should be 24 to 48 hours but could take a little longer because of COVID 19.

Sorry again,
