I get these phone calls from someone who says they are from "Windows Support." Their return phone number doesn't show up on my caller ID. They claim that they are getting e-mails from me, but don't try to sell me something. When I try to question them, I am only met with dead silence.
Has anyone else heard of this? I assume that it's some kind of scam.

Yep it's a scam. Tell them to put you on their do not call list. And if they keep calling back report them to the FTC.
