the touch pad on my Toshiba laptop stopped working. Is there a repair for that?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,
 
Without more information whether you have Webroot or not .. I suppose you should go to Toshiba.com or Google, "Toshiba  touchpad does not work properly".
 
But you can try to follow this information below and that might help.Which is from Toshiba Support.
 
  1. Start Device Manager Windows Vista and Windows 7: open the Start Menu and type "Device Manager" in the search field. Select "Device Manager" from the results. Windows 8: At the Start screen, type "Device Manager".  
  2. In Device Manager select Mice and other pointing devices, then right-click on touchpad entries and select Uninstall.
  3. After the driver uninstalls, reboot your computer. The driver will install automatically.
If that doesn't help, try manually downloading the newest touchpad driver from the Toshiba Support site. Use the "Touchpad" filter as well as the filter for your version of Windows. Most newer Toshiba laptops use the 64-bit version of Windows.
