My Webroot says I have 5 machines protected, but those are all old machines we no longer have.
I have this PC, and I want to add a new laptop for a total of (2) machines protected (unless our two Amazon Kindle e-readers are protected, but I did not try to add Webroot to those when I bought them).

You can go into your online console and deactivate the old machines from there which will free up spaces on your licence.
