webroot is asking me to unistall because has a potential treath, I have been using this app for years, and why is that now?

I am not sure nwhy Webroot would consider this a threat. Usually Webroot will tell you in App Inspector/ Review Apps and show you which apps that can Access your messages, Access sensitive information, Track your location, or Cost you more money. It's left up to you whether you want to uninstall this appor not. Does Webroot tell you this app is a threat and must be uninstalled?
If you are conerned then you can always Submit a Support Ticket and have them check this out for you free of charge with an active Webroot subscription.
