I can't access my account or my app. No email support anymore?
My Key Code no longer works My username and password no longer work to log into my account on the web or when trying to open the app. In fact, the app no longer opens and requests my key code and then rejects it. I tried to make a new account and I get a error message that the page doesn’t exist. My mobile app works and correctly verifies that my account is paid through spring of 2024. There seems to be no way to send an email request for support to Webroot/Carbonite and the knowledge base is of no help. BTW, I paused my VPN through these steps to no avail. My app is Webroot SecureAnywhere - CompleteAnyone out there that can provide guidance? Thank you in advance,Shiah
WebRoot and XPCOM and Tor
This is a bit more complicated than the error message about Tor and XPCOM but it’s a major part. About four or five days ago I tried to open Tor Browser on one of my two laptops. Immediately, instead, a WebRoot message appeared that said it had detected a virus in XPCOM but (probably misremebering) only had one option and that was to delete the virus. From that point on every time opening Tor it began to open but then that error message Cannot Load XPCOM. Decided to delete Tor and reinstall it. In Win11 Settings I looked for it under Apps but nothing even close to Tor was listed. Looked for it in File Explorer but again no listing. Went back to the desktop and right clicked the Tor Browser and told WebRoot to completely erase it. Tried again for the Start Tor link. All of the Tor links are still there and work save for XPCOM. Tried to just download a new program but even that stopped at an XPCOM error. Tried to download the program file with a slightly different file name bu
HI, this MAY be a redundant question, though it is not exactly what I have yet read here.A month ago webroot sent me reminders that my account was to expire.I renewed it alnd paid.A week later I got a reminder from BestBuy it was to renew with my TotalTech membership.I called, and though I resolved it, but got a notice it renewed through BB. May I assume I will only pay the one time? Or must I wait to see if it shows up on an imy credit card statement (which I will likely not do because I have a crappy memory)) Thanks, Jenni
Webroot said I was infected, but scan found nothing
On windows, my Webroot tray icon recently showed an exclamation point, indicating I was infected. When I ran a scan, however, it came up empty. Similarly, when I tried to follow these instructions to save a threat log, the application told me the threat log was empty. The icon also no longer indicates there is any threat or infection.Is this something I need to worry about? Should I assume that my system is fine, or are there steps I should take?Thank you in advance.
Hello All,So, received VERY troubling news from Webroot Support and I could really use some guidance here. For the past 8 or 9 years I’ve been a webroot customer. The very first time I renewed I added a new keycode to my account, only find out that I lost all remaing days, and had to start all over setting up Backup. Come to find out that Webroot doesn’t work like most software and that I had actually replaced my account, not renewed it. So, every year since then I have purchased a new keycode and then asked support to add the time to my account, thus avoiding any hassles or lost days.Well, Webroot has informed that they won’t do that anymore…From Support… Unfortunately, we are unable to combine subscriptions in this manner. We would be able to do the reverse, however, and add the remaining days from your existing subscription.This should not cause any issues as far as your LastPass subscription goes, as you will just need to add the new keycode to your Carbonite + Webroot management
Webroot has screwed up my account (active since 2017) and I cannot contact them any way other than here
I was logged into my Webroot Console (created in 2017, still has 193 days remaining from the last auto-renewal) to find out how to transfer my paid LastPass account to Webroot. I was still logged into my console account when webroot sent me an email entitled “Webroot Console Confirmation (Action Required)” which directed that I “complete the registration process and activate your Webroot Console” with a link, followed by “Your password has been automatically generated for you”. The webroot email is NOREPLY so I cannot respond directly, nor can I respond ANY OTHER WAY (I tried submitting a ticket , then a message, but they rejected both). They won’t accept my REAL console account password (I am logged in at this moment) and I do NOT want them destroying my 5-device console setup that I have been using for the last 5 years!!Is there any way to get through to these people before they destroy my 5-year old console account??
Exclude Metasploit Framework
I have to use Metasploit for a class I am taking on Cybersecurity, is there a way to exclude Metasploit and its framework from webroot? I checked all the ALLOW options I could find, it still flags them as bad. It is SecureAnywhere CE 22.3. Appreciate suggestions to get these resolved.
I was looking in the Event Viewer and I saw a twistee labeled Audit Failure. I didn’t remember seeing that one before, so I opened it up and it appears to be referencing a Webroot file.Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume5\ProgramData\WRData\e30968e.dat So what does this mean? Is it a concern?I’m not sure what HardiskVolume5 is. I presume this the C drive. But the curious thing is I don’t find a file named e30968e.dat under the ProgramData\WRData folder.Thanks
exceeding the number of devices per subscription
Just curious how my subscription is handled if I add more devices than I purchased? Previous Antivirus SW just reduced the number of active days that I had left but allowed me to add as many as I needed. Does Webroot do the same? Or will I need to go purchase another subscription for additional devices?

Webroot CE 184.108.40.206I was shifting files around the other day and making image files for backups, when webroot suddenly lit up identifyiin multiole files which we had previously scanned with no problems and of specific interest all my internet zone domains were red flagged.Had to disable Webroot for the duration.I do use Spyware Blaster to add site restrictions?What was that?
New Keycode WHY??
I have been a satisfied Webroot user since 2014.I renewed my subscription last year for another 3 years.But now every time I turn on my pc I get a popup:“Your New Keycode Has Been Activated” WHY?? WHAT IS GOING ON? How do I stop the popups?Is there a phone # for customer service?My old keycode from 2014 still shows when I bring up my desktop console.I have been unable to reach customer service.I did finally finally google “webroot customer support phone number”, but the number is for a scammer who told me the popup was evidence my router had been compromised and I should install UltraViewer on my PC so he could remote in and clean things up. (I hung up.)
How to add a New Product keycode on Management Console
Hi,I noticed few days ago, that the “ADD PRODUCT KEYCODE”, in my consumer management console has been removed, but in the help menu still showing the same procedure for the mentioned button 🙄!!!Any ideas how to add a new keycode in the same console?Thank you all in advance!
new Webroot App screwed up everything
Jusrt tried installing the new Web app you wanted me too. Now I can’t uninstall the secure anywhere app; I can NO LONGER login with my password & am I supposed to do this on all my devices as so far my phone & chromebook are screwed up!!? Please advise & solve or refund my $$. A company is only as good as their support - so far it has been a nightmare. An hour looking for answers that should have been a breeze. What is going on with Webroot?
Every day it asks me to sign up for an account. I already have an account, but I can’t access it because the “forgot password” link does not work.. Also every day Windows asks me how I want to open this file, but it does not tell me what file, so I told it to use a text editor. It opened a file named program, which appeared to be an exe file. Windows complains about a file named program, which it says may keep some applications from working correctly. Clearly Webroot is AFU. Should I cancel my subscription and try a different product? I emailed support but got no response.

Hi all,The system analyse from Webroot Secure Anywhere reports f.e. a handle-leak(explorer.exe) with a system analyse from tools.Sometimes it occurs only while running a program. Running Microsoft Edge and Facebook together and closing these a scan also results in this message. After restarting the computer this is solved. How to improve my system? scans disabled and last scan date changing
Hi! I'm having an issue with Webroot where it seems to be turning itself off and on automatically.And all scans seem to be frozen or disabled, where it'll just say "0 files scanned" and processes "not scanned". The time elapses fine and continues changing as expected (1 second, 49 seconds, etc.) but nothing else changes during scanning.Last scan time and duration, on the other hand, keeps changing. It alternates between "last scan 1 day, 22 hours ago" with 4m 34s and "last scan 2 hours ago" with 2m34s duration.It only changes when I try to start a new scan or every few minutes, but keeps alternating between those two specific timestamps. (There is a third variation that now says it was last scanned <5 minutes ago, but still has the 2m34s length and still reverts to the other two)The number of total scans also keeps changing, from 1 to 3. No longer shows the 200+ scans.Next scan part of the menu alters between "Not scheduled" to "20 hours". I've also seen the phishing shield turn its

I have a 5-seat SecureAnyware Complete license. I loaded SecureAnywhere Complete on a new, replacement computer. When I tried to login to my Webroot account, I provided my email address and password. Then it asked me for an AUTHENTICATION CODE, NOT letters from my security code , an AUTHENTICATION CODE. Where and how do I get an AUTHENTICATION CODE?
