How do I get rid of this annoying popup, assume its a virus?

Please follow the steps below and you'll be alright.

3. Download and install Ccleaner.
4. Click Analyze button. Then click Run Cleaner button.
5. Go to Tools > Startup. Search through each tab starting from windows, internet explorer, etc., all the way to Content Menu, for additional suspicious entries and click Disable and Delete once anything is found.
6. If you currently have WSA in your computer, go to Advanced Settings > Scan Settings and check Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications.
7. Lightspark Player often bundles with third-party freeware and shareware, as well as torrents from websites such as download.com and thepiratebay. Lightspark Player Pro is also aggressively marketed through a series of “looping” or redirecting websites that may install the software once a user lands on a certain page or clicks a button or suggest that the software is needed. Be careful when downloading stuffs. Don't click on everything on a website.

As ams963 has recommended in his step 6. make sure that you have Advanced Settings > Scan Settings and check Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications.  Once you have run the scan, if nothing has been detected then try the following that the excellent @ Threat Researcher extraordinaire, has recommend:
 
1. Go to Advanced Settings > Scan Settings and UNcheck Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications.
2. Save the settings
3. Then go back and check Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications check box, before once again saving the settings.
4. The try running another scan to see if the PUA is now detected by WSA.
 
Apparently, in some cases this has been found to 'nudge' the detection of PUAs a bit.  Worth a try IMHO. 
 
Of course, if the collective advice provided does not help resolve the situation for you then please Submit a Support Ticket so that the Support Team can take a look and assist.
