Hi guys! It's Tyrene, me. You will see me via a very long way since I truly don't understand really much about company however. I'm not going to get discouraged and I am expecting to learn a whole lot here. I actually can not manage to pay for somebody to to operate my company, although I have got a company support that individuals are willing to pay me for. Here are something that I'm searching for help with and I realize that I will not be able to find help with everything all in one place so I'm joining lots of little business forums centered on a listing that I was given by my uncle. How much bookkeeping am I going to need before I get in too deep with taxation as well as other business issues such as that to master? Right now I'm simply gathering check or money. Obviously like I could take bank card payments, I'd like to appear, but does not that cost money? Before and I don't desire a Wells Fargo to nickel-and-dime me like they do when my personal consideration drops a little sho
Coming back to Webroot
Hi all, I'm not technically new on the forum, as I've posted troubleshooting stuff before. I've spent the past year or so trying out just about every AV product on the market. I'm a geek. And decided to come back to Webroot permanently. Reason being, the other guys' suites are becoming way too bloated. Even though modern PCs don't get bogged down by AV, it's concerning to me that Bitdefender, Trend, and many others use 300+MB of memory at idle, and it gets more every year. Is it poor coding? How can Norton or Avast provide the same, if not better protection, using only 20MB? (not comparing Webroot because of its unique cloud-exclusive function)....... This is a rhetorical question, but that is the main thing stuck in my mind after of a years' worth of fooling around with AV products, and a main reason I ended up back at Webroot. Yeah, I'm a geek. I also like to check out the user interface of all the products. I think most of them do a good job at that these days. I'm
Downloaded and installed software but my PC is not showing up on my online account, mobile device is
Having issues with showing that I have any active PCs on my online account after i log in. I am running the software on my Macbook Air and it seems to be working fine, but online "PC security" shows 0 devices, while I was able to see my mobile phone after i registered it under "Mobile security". I also need to remove an old PC from my subscription but its not showing up either. Any ideas?
Hi - New Community Member
Hi, just installed webroot, I've been having a Notification pop-up that says " Warming your phone is slow, Fix now " this is not a phone to start with and the misspelling is a flag not to click on it. But I can't seem to get it to stop nor does any security program seem to find it. Any thoughts from the community? Oh I'm on a Kindle fire HD8
Full Screen Pop
Yesterday, a full screen pop up appeared on my screen with porn pictures. The audio said I had been attacked by a virus and I needed to take action. I quickly turned off my computer. This is the first time I have ever experienced anything like this. I haven't even visited a porn site. So why would I receive a porn related pop up? I manually scanned my computer using Webroot and it did not report a virus. Why did this happen?
Hello to All, I use my lap top for home & work, I have webroot installed, my concern is from time to time I get a notice that says my system is compromised and I should call this number to get it repaired right away. I run webroot scans and it shows no threats. Is there something else I should be doing??
person over phone claims my machine is a mineon for hackers and wants access to it
About once every few weeks a person (sounds like he is from India) calls my house - claims he works for Microsoft and claims that my machine is a mineon for hackers. He wants me to grant him access to the machine for a few hours. Of course not knowing who this person is, I decline him this. Webroot protection on my machine does not find any threats. The only sign of anything that is out of the ordinary is that a pop up window posts when I shut down stating that an invalid memory location is being accessed. Has anyone received such phone calls?
I have a strange email link problem.
Hi peeps! I'd like to know if anyone knows how to allow links in my emails to become live. These are not direct links, but words between the html karets >asdf</a used to substitute for the full link addresses that I cannot open. I don't know if my settings at yahoo or webroot are blocking the live links. I've looked through security options but don't find this particular allow, unless it's in wording I don't connect with livening up the links. I appreciate any information. Thank you. PBWolf
