Hi, I am pretty much a novice as far as computer skills go, but I do know how the sign-in should work. I can sign-in from my webroot console, it's just from the webroot tab on my Google bar. I keep getting an error message saying it doesn't recognize the e-mail address, even after I sign in on the console with the same info. Wierd, to say the least. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Richard Launey

This month's feature guard dog is Hank. “Hank is a rare breed, a combination of brains and beauty. We’re just not sure which breed(s),” said Kim Brown, Webroot’s Product Marketing Manager. “He was picked up running loose in Eastern Kansas and was lucky enough to end up at the Boulder Humane Society. Lucky for us.” He’s smart enough to open the patio screen to let himself in. Kim and her family are still working with Hank on closing the door behind himself. Hank’s job is making sure everyone is up and moving in the morning. He enjoys hanging with the crew at the off-leash dog park and he loves the occasional Pawbender treat. Check out beauty and brain and in action: Kim said that Hank is also willing to do public appearances, as needed. See you at the dog park, Hank! [img]https://d1qy7qyune

Last month we featured Wes' dog Elvin. When not watching Broncos games she is fond of being
We have one mobile phone that has significantly lost battery time since mobile protection was installed. I've tried turning off, pulling the SD card and then restarting the phone - as suggested by the helpdesk for possible SD corruption. That didn't work. I finally removed the device from the admin console. This was supposed to give the user the ability to uninstall but he can't. Any suggestions? Ideally we would like his phone protected but minimally we would like to uninstall it and resolve whatever is causing the battery drain.
Since we've branched out from dogs to cows, we figured we should include other pets as well. This month we have two cute cats guarding the roost! Here's what their owner had to tell us about them: I adopted my two cats, Holmes and Watson Moriarty, when they were 8 weeks + 1 day old, in 2009. These brothers truly take after their namesakes. Holmes is the “adventure cat” who has never known a moment of true fear in his whole cushy life, and is on a first name basis with the world. Unfortunately, his daily bravado means that he has zero coping mechanisms when the F-22s fly overhead during Broomfield’s annual airshow, or when he hears firecrackers on the 4th of July! Watson lives in a state of perpetual caution, on the other hand, afraid of everything

Hello my name is Dara I am computer illiterate and get confused real fast so with that being said can...can anyone explain to me why my laptop says (not responding) sometimes..usually after it says that it says something about "closing the script" "debugging the script" etc...any help with this would sooo appreciated. I have read that viruses can take good sectors and mark them as bad and install themselvers there. Anti-virus software may not check a sector if it is marked as bad. The information there is not listed as a file in the partition table so again anti-virus software may never check there. If you are smart you will zero out any sector that is marked as bad. That would kill this type of virus. I bet this idea is pantentable. You ought to license it.
This is my first time on the Webroot Community and not sure if this is where I need to be to ask the following question: I recieved the following warning on my labtop and wonder if it is real and follow the instructions? I did a webroot scan and did not find anything. What is www.wdx4.com? We thought it fitting that October's guard dogs post should include a black cat. Without further ado, meet Boris-Boris. Boris-Boris is a long-haired female cat who was born on a stormy Halloween night*. She’ll be 13 years old this year. We adopted her (along with her unusual name) gently used from a family friend when she was six years old. Boris-Boris is known around the Parisi house as the “Harbinger of Doom.” She is able to detect colds or the flu days before it goes full blown. So, if she parks herself on your lap and looks at you with pity, stock up on the chicken soup and lozenges. Her technique is 100% medically accurate**. Boris-Boris does not dig costumes, but she did agree to model with some seasonal decorations. We’d love to see your pets in costume this Halloween – post ‘em if you got ‘em! [i]Boris-Boris lives with Mandy Parisi, Webroot’
