Hello Forum! I have a simple question: What is the proper way to add another mobile device to your account to gain access to Webbroot SecureAnywhere Complete? I want to add it to another smartphone. Does it make a different who owns the device?(It is my brother's) A helpful answer will be greatly appreciated/ Thank You, MrSomething
I guess I won't be buying your product because it's failed to detect an obvious infection. Where do I send this file so you add it to your database? It's really too bad, yours is the only product I can run in real time that doesn't slow my pc down to glacial spped. Oh well, I've saved a big chunk of change.
Task Mgr identified as a Webroot Process, but I could not find a ref on other search engines. Also, sometimes there would be 2 of these processes running. Program stored in C:Program FilesBwxxojkxDQMARvfy.exe -ul. Odd that I have it on 1 pc , but not the other. Both use Webroot SecureAnyWhere complete. Thanks for any info.
I just purchased a key for 3 computers. I have multiple operating systems installed on my computer and 2 other separate computers in my house. Am I able to use the license key on multiple operating systems on one computer as well as 2 other separate computers? In other words: are separate operating systems considered separate 'computers' to Webroot?
Hi I am having awful trouble getting this site to work. I have a 5 license web root complete and have it activated on 1 PC and 4 laptops. The initial setup took ages as it didnt recognise the codes then issued about 3 new ones but eventually got it all setup on them. However if I go to the website there is nothing there I checked under manage keycodes and it had one of the old trial codes - weird - so I added the code from my PC to it. It now says its active for 307 days but when I go to PC security there is no PCs listed at all, if I add a PC it then asks me to buy a new code..... The webrrot software appears to be running fine on all devices and says its active on them all so why do none of them show under my account? Or am I just being dim :)
A friend's daughter had a nasty set of trojans etc. She had norton installed and tried McAfee and lord knows what else. They didn't help. I uninstalled them. Webroot complete seems to have cleaned all that up. But, windows security center can't be started in the action center. And going into services, I can't find it in the list to start it from there. So... is there a way to get it back in the services list? At this point, since so many things are trashed, I'm inclined to have her reinstall win7 and start over. But she doesn't want to start over again.
Cnet is safe and just downloaded the program. Downloader contains only the elements of the installation of additional Toolbar - Babylon, which need not be installed because there is such an option and can be omitted. I wanted to report this fact into account and added it to the base program. Thank you. Today, after scanning the entire system, a colleague from another forum that it has received messages to system files that are clean are the Trojans! Scanning took place on the Windows 7 64 bit. There are obvious serious mistakes of the program. There should be a space. Please look into it. Provides a link to a screen grab from the scan. Hi all, Loving WSA Complete, extremely good product and I look forward to follow it's progress :D I use the backup feature, but I wish to only backup files between midnight and 8am - when my ISP allows unlimited traffic. I cannot find an option for this, is it possible? Many thanks in advance Matt
Welcome. 4 months have in your laptop Webroot Complete. Generally, every day or every few days I send through a program to analyze a lot of suspicious virus-infected files. The fact - are quickly addressed and dealt with by the program. My question is to you - otherwise how can you transfer files to analyze in more - but after five, because it is a tedious one. Another question is if I can get the answer - what engines have Webroot? I know that uses the Prevx because it was purchased, but do something else?
Here is the link to the test, Webroot can not cope too well, you may need to draw any conclusions from this? But the fact is that it shows the program settings. Greetings - I've used Spysweeper WITHOUT Antivirus for several years. For antivirus protection I use a different product. I do NOT like or want to use one program for all my security ! I believe in the old proverbial phrase, "Don't keep all your eggs in one basket". Today, Spysweeper checked for updates and it said an update was available, so I accepted it. BAD IDEA, because now Webroot Spysweeper INCLUDES antivirus protection (SecureAnywhere). It is not a good idea to have multiple antivirus products running on the same PC. I removed Webroot and reinstalled Spysweeper. Unfortunately the antivirus part is included. HOW do I get JUST Spysweeper Antispyware WITHOUT the antivirus protection of SecureAnywhere? (Or do I have to forget about using Webroot's Spysweeper in the future entirely?)
I set up my account but all I see is a page that says "You are logged out" and a link that says "Return to Home". I did some searching and apparently I'm supposed to verify my email but I never recieved an email and I see no obvious way to resend an activation email. What can I do?
Hai, I checked my windows fireawll settings and it was turned on, does webroot secure anywhere complete use it's own firewall? Or is it using windows firewall? I just don't want to have 2 firewalls running if it's not needed, I'd like to think for the price webroot uses it's own firewall. Thank you :)
